Decent discount on what looks like a fine washer dryer combo for those with small spaces. It's a condensor dryer so doesn't vent humid air - I ended up not taking it as I'd prefer a more efficient heat pump dryer, but may suit some.

      I'm not endorsing this unit in particular, but those reviews seem like the standard for all washing machines/dryers. All units I've ever owned have those complaints online, overall rated around 3.x/5 stars, but were fine. Though I've never had an LG, yet.

      I have this since 2022 with no issues. I've been using the wash and dry cycle for bedsheets, quilt covers and towels with no issues.

      I have had this unit since 2020 with no issues. The drying capability is not as strong as that of a heat pump dryer but for daily uses, it's fine as long as you don't overload it.

        My heat pump averages around 2.25 hours. Add an hour for the wash. 5 is ridiculous.

        Power is cheap during the day now due to rooftop solar. Off peak controlled load isn’t much cheaper in my experience.

    Choice said these combos use a ton of water even when drying, is that still the case?

      They use same amount of water for washing as any other machine.

      For drying, they use water to cool the condenser. That could mean 20 to 40 litres for one load. In other words, less water than a 5 min shower.

      It's the price you pay for wanting a compact combo machine. If you don't use the dryer much, the combo units might make sense.

    Have this machine for 4 years for a family with two kids and never have any issue.
    I echoed leaving bedsheets drying overnight.
    Good machine so far.
