  • 2 Qantas Points per $1 spent on eligible transactions

Really that hard to fit Qantas Products and Services into the above?

No annual fee? Surely that should be in the description. Particularly since the OP is the referrer.

    Annual fee kills the deal

  • This seems like a much higher annual fee from the previous 'good deals' at ~$300 or even free 1st yr fee, and now Qantas points are worth much less (my bad, got mistaken with AMEX points). Am I missing anything or is this just not that good of a deal?

Why cross out the bit about the devalued points. It's true for anyone who wants to use them for business or first class flights.

      • oh it is? not familiar with these things XD

care to comment on how good of a deal this is? looking around for a good entry point

I can't comment because I'm not going to start the application in order to find out the annual fee. EDIT I see it has finally been inserted. The normal amex Qantas ultimate is the same price with a $450 travel credit. Same points accumulation. This appears to be for businesses therefore I suspect you might need to Insert an ABN somewhere in the application.

Hardly a deal, this offer has been out all year. Points hacks had the best offer where you got 130k instead of 120. I've got this card and it's so easy to earn points on qantas business flights and hotels. If you travel then you can earn up to 6 points per dollar for hotels.

You also need an ABN and revenue over 75k to apply. Its also a charge card, not a credit card. The $450 fee is tax deductable if the card is used for business only.
