Damn this deal would have made sydney house prices affordable

On similar deal from last time tracking was unsuccessful despite tried and proven methods, so no cash back, and strangely enough both low value items never arrived, allegedly reported lost in transit. Moreover they won't resend, and "refunding" would invalidate the cashback all together.
Some cash back is good and reliable, but this particular deal is not worth the effort in my opinion, with comments on the previous deal also stating tracking successful until check out where it's then not at the last step of payment. Watch for the tracking icon in your browser add on to confirm it's tracked all the way.

    • Funny that you mention that, because this exact thing just happened to me this morning. I had thought it was because the order didn't meet the minimum spend…

The browser add-on stayed activated (waiting for an order) after the order was placed whereas it usually pops up with a "successfully tracked" prompt.

    • Same here.

I always make sure I clicked the link and checked the browser add-on was activated, but in my email box I only received the original 1% cashback.

    • Same here. I double triple clicked on shopback notification on desktop before i buy and it's over AUD$2 but still did not get any shopback tracking yet. So worried

Yes me too worried about that $2 now my property deposit money is short of $2 and lawyer isn't happy

  • Can I pay with an ebay gift card?

    • +3

thanks also found SB additional condition: - Payment using any type of voucher or eBay credit may result in your purchase being ineligible to earn cashback. So I will go with a Paypal payment instead.

Oh and does it matter if it shows the cost in Canadian dollars?

  • +4

geesus spent like 30 mins to browse ebay while comparing the prices with my aliexpress wishlist.
amazing how the same item cost like 40-70% more on ebay.
    ebay is just crap.

    • eBay used to be good, you would trade with other mostly other people or smaller businesses when I started.

Will it work for 2 items totaling over AUD$2 in 1 cart transaction?

  • +2

Can the AUD$2 include GST and postage?

    • +1

I wouldn't say so - on the page under "Cashback Details" it shows:

Excludes taxes, fees or additional extras

  • So ~USD$1.40 for free stuff?

  • Bought some item cost usd$1.49 +gst.
Hopefully will get the bonus cashback :)
    Thanks op.
