      it happened a while ago, but it was the nandos at the swanston st store in melbourne, next to the newsagents, its been under renovation for months now, but i wont eat nandos ever now

    The Carlton store is on swanston street (opposite melbourne uni).
    More commonly know at the "College Square on Swanston" store.

Hint, it doesn't email you a link, it gives the voucher immediately. Hmm, didn't note down the direct URL. So you can use a temporary email address. ;)

Also the voucher doesn't have your name on it, just the store's. So you can pass it around.

excludes my store in nsw and also they are not very good. nandos just had a price rise, and if all they can do is give you a stupid 1/4 chicken with a meal then I wont be back for a long time.

  Well with Nandos, you don't hear stories of people sitting down at the fast food restaurant booths, and not being able to leave as they've gotten stuck. Guess it's because every Nandos I've been too has stools. They're ahead of the game you see…
  
  Regards to health, a mate of mine that worked there didn't have many 'horror stories' to share. Pretty much they trim the fat, pre-marinate it (you can tell), and in some places you can see them grill it for you on order. Lovely :)
  
  Only flame war I can see here is a battle of the Portuguese chicken chains fight. But for me they're all good in their own ways. :P

    not all places pre-marinate, some places you have to ask them to put on the marinade before they grill it. Also the chickens come pre-cooked in my experience. If they don't leave it on the grill long enough, the inside is cooked, but stone cold.
    
    Don't get me wrong, I LOVE nandos, just a few points to raise is all.
    
    EDIT: just to clarify RE premarinating, i have not experienced this myself, I have not been that observant, just friends that I used to go regularly to nandos with, used to request this when ordering… so admittedly not the most solid evidence, but still

  The offer varies by shop. Some are stingier than others. But yeah, nowhere near as good as the 2 for 1 of the past.
