  I am considering a video door bell. how useful is Ring2 without monthly or annual sub? Does it come with any free or limited cloud storage etc. which doesn't require an active sub?

    From memory, you can sign up for a 30 day trial of the cloud storage features.

    Without the subscription, you can only view live video
