Clearasil is just a benzyl peroxide or salyctic acid product that is not good for the skin its also very inneffective for most people. This free sample looks like a very nice formula of natural herbs.
Its also important to get the right balance of nutrients/diet for a more effective treatmemt of acne. beta carotene, MSM, zinc, B vitamin supplimentation can be very effective.
You should try one called Benzac, its by a generic pharmaceutical company, around $13 for a pretty big tube and comes in different strengths. Works in around 3 weeks. (recommended by my doctor)

I use this to, but it won't be too effective on it's own. You should use skin cleanser before applying the Benzac to get rid of excess dirt/oils, and hydroxy after applying it to help remove blemishes left over. www.acne.org has plenty of info, good luck.

I'm not sure if it's exactly the same product, but a while back I also had a free Lalisse sample (not through Ozbargain) and it smelt weird. It also had a really strong smell so I received a few funny stares at uni in the lecture hall :|

People do comment on the smell of the serum but you just have to ask yourself whether it works for you or not. I personally don't mind the smell but do notice it.

The only acne treatment that worked for me after trying literally dozens of them was the stuff off www.acne.org
Pretty pricey though at $50 for the big bottle but it does last about 6 months and works an absolute treat.
I used to have pretty bad acne and it got to the point where I would just hate myself and it would be hard to even leave the house but this stuff cleared me right up.

one of the anti-acne products doctors prescribe is retin a. it's proven to get rid of wrinkles too! i agree with the no pain no gain comment- you peel for a while before you get used to it and it gets effective.

The key to getting rid of acne is constant exfoliation. Scrubs and mirodern if possible. Vitamin C serum (which you can make yourself) during the day and very low retinoid A stuff overnight. Lactic peels (you can buy it off ebay) help as well.

Don't buy into the skin care products.
Try the simple "clean towel on your pillow" trick first.Basically you just put a clean towel on your pillow while you sleep.
