  • I've got the white version of this dishwasher. It's fantastic. Best one I've ever had. Super quiet, fits more in than my last dishwasher of same dimensions (well designed interior) and my dishes have never come out cleaner!

    • It (series 4) does not have a full stainless steel finish inside, right?

      • +1

If I knew how to put a photo here I would.

Just checked. You are correct. The sides, back and top stainless. The base plastic. I am unsure whether this is lining or not? It could possibly be? Not sure.

The spinning arm on the base is plastic, but there is square steel mesh on base where filter sits.

I love it though, and would and have recommended to others.

Looking for deal on Series 6 model (SMS66MI02A) which is way superior and made in Germany.

  • hmm, they have taken the series 6 and series 8 out? i thought bing lee had them on ebay..

    • They definitely had the series6 on ebay previously as I was choosing between the 4 & 6!

I went with the 4 as it was cheaper and I don't use it very often…. been trying to fill my current one the past week and struggling!

The argument point of where it's made…. does it really matter?
It still should be built in Bosch's strict QA, and warranty is still the same.
Someone correct me if i'm wrong!
