No. It does not. But can be used with one. If you have a mouse or keyboard with one, you can pair mouse or keyboard with it. Just need the "Unifying Software". If you then want to restore it to the original receiver you need the "Connection Utility".
I've never had any luck with that ….. are there limited devices that the Unifying Recevier will work with? e.g only some Mouse/Kboards that didn't come with a Unifying Recevier themselves?
@FrontBottom: I have the MK220. What I do is:
1. Get Unifying Software ready to scanning stage with Unifying Receiver in PC. Make sure original receiver is not plugged in.
2. Take batteries out of keyboard/mouse and put batteries back in.
3. Unifying Software will detect new item.Away at the moment but pretty sure that's how I did it.
@Petsa: seems more work than just plugging the usb dongle in…
I work away from the office a lot so bought this combo due to the compact keyboard size.
Definitely does not have a unified receiver and if you lose the included dongle you are pretty much stuck with 2 useless pieces of plastic.
Works well if just plugging into main tv
Can confirm no unifying receiver, just a chunky USB dongle
You just saved me $15.
good price
For anyone who prefers a wired full-size keyboard and mouse combo (no batteries to go flat!), Aldi have the Logitech MK200 combo on sale for $16.99, sale started yesterday. Keyboard is standard full-size 104 key layout, and it appears to have eight additional keys along the top edge of the keyboard, which are probably multimedia functions like adjust volume, etc.
I pulled mine out of the cupboard for a new build the other day. Hunk of junk. Couldn’t change over to my nice wireless kb quick enough.
And how much did your "nice wireless kb" cost?
I currently use this on my Media centre (loungeroom) for over 12mths..
No probs besides a slight k/b delay at times (sorta like it's waking up & buffers a few keystrokes)… Could also be related to using Amazon rechargies Vs alkalines (1.2v Vs 1.5v)…
Ordinary price. Still a good deal though.
