How many rides and for how long?
Up to 50% off per ride, max saving of $10 per ride, can be used once per rider per calendar week (Monday to Sunday)
yeah I can read that, but how long does this go on?
Can I do it once a week for the next decade? Or is it limited to once a week for the first 4 rides, or does it stop in 3 weeks?
We will have a number of promotions in Melbourne for our June birthday campaign and going forward, this GIFT50 one will be available to eligible riders on a weekly basis.
Keep an eye out on the home page in the App for what promotion offers are available to your account! Also check out Ozbargain from time to time as we will have offers posted here to the Ozbargain community.
@douglastoy: Yeah a weekly basis for how long?
Given how much I'm getting spammed on YouTube by Didi, I'd refuse to use their service out of spite.
adblock?
Used it in Sunday and can't use it again today.seems only works once
Hi there
Do you mind PM me with your mobile number so we can look into it for you? The promotion resets at 11:59pm (AEST) Sunday FYI.
Cheers
I'll be going to China later this week. Will I be able to use this app there?
Also just realised that Didi isn't available in Sydney.
Hi frankfu1122
Correct, DiDi is not available in Sydney but coming very soon!
In order to use DiDi in China, you will need to use a different App, look for DiDi Greater China in your App store
Thanks @douglastoy, I've downloaded the DiDi Greater China app and put my Australian AMEX card which it seems to have accepted and successfully charged that $1 authorisation thingy.
The only thing is I'm not able to do is to "verify" my identity. It tries to send me an SMS to my Australian mobile number but never comes through despite "retrying" several times. Strangely enough, when I initially registered with the app it requires the SMS verification and it was able to successfuly send the SMS through but for the purposes of verifying my identity it just straight out fails. Why would would the SMS system work for registration but not for identity verification?
Do you know if this will hinder my ability to use the service?
From what I've just confirmed with our product team, in order to use DiDi in China, you will need to have a Chinese mobile number and register the services with it due to local compliance reasons.
Hope this helps
@douglastoy: Sweet. Thanks for following up.
Doesn’t work in Newcastle
When did Didi come to Australia?
