The Nintendo Classic Mini: Super Nintendo Entertainment System contains 21 pre-installed classic games, and can easily be plugged into a high-definition TV using the included HDMI cable.
For the first time, players who pick up the system can enjoy the intergalactic adventure Star Fox 2, the sequel to the original Star Fox (originally titled Starwing upon release in Australia and New Zealand) that was created during the Super Nintendo era but never released … anywhere!
Even for super fans that have played all of these games multiple times, the inclusion of the never-before-released Star Fox 2 will offer them something entirely new to enjoy (players must prove their skill by completing the first level of the original Star Fox before Star Fox 2 is unlocked to play).

Anyone got one? Is it only limited to those 21? You can't add a SD my any chance?

    • +1

Nope can be modded to add alot more games. You use a normal USB drive. I have a 64gb sandisk connected to mine.

      • +1

You don't need to use a usb drive to mod or add additional games.

Internal memory of the snes classic is around 250mb. I've added around 30 odd additional games to the 21 pre loaded games which totals only about an additional 43mb.

Yeah well you do need a usb if you wanna add a large collection of games. I've managed to add alot of systems to mine for the kids to play. Lots of fun for everyone.

          • @habib23q: Curious to know if you can add Goldeneye from Nintendo 64 to this? Thanks

            • @Mahalo: You can but just like other mini consoles and even raspberry pi's the emulation isn't the best with most n64 games. Nvidia shield or PC is much better for n64 gaming.

You can pretty much add whatever you want. Just dont add too many/wait til you've gone through the games on there you wanted to. The more you have the less you play and appreciate imo.

      • so true, it is also just nice for everything to be in one place

        So true.

  • Just got delivered. Kind of sucks it doesn’t come with a power supply. It’s just a USB cable

  • i would buy one if it ran on true to the original hardware and not an internal emulator
