For the discerning bargain bean hunter, when price trumps everything else. $10 for 1kg of beans is a pretty good deal in my opinion, but have not tried this mix. I'm normally an Aldi beans guy but I think this deal is worth a shot.

If anyone pops in to HF and could let us know the expiry that would be great.
this is the cheaper one, often similar price at Collies
According to pricehipster it seems the cheapest it gets at Woolies is $12.50, but $19 kg at the moment
Spend an extra 2 and get Aldi beans. Far better
used these beans before don't recommend them. the aldi medium roast are better.
Thanks for the review @tanksinatra
I tried them once and now wouldn't take them if they were free… also a fan of the Aldi Lazzio Medium.
Used to use these beans pretty much exclusively. Lately it's been really hard to get any pressure without grinding them into dust. We got the Breville Smart Grinder a little while ago and have to use the smallest setting to get any pressure at all. I read that is due to the beans being stale. We are going to finish off the last bag we have then go back to Aldi beans. All the Aldi beans we've tried have been pretty good. Don't think we will get these again unless the Aldi ones start doing the same thing.
Edit: The Best Before date doesn't seem to make any difference either. Still stale.
Edit 2: Sorry, we actually used to use the Mountain Grown ones. Still, we will stay away from Vittoria for the time being.
Have you contacted vittoria about your lack off pressure issue? Probably worth your time too contact them.
No. We've tried quite a few different brands and beans. Seems to only happen with the Vittoria ones. I guess I could contact them but we've found the Aldi ones are nice and cheaper too.
"…this deal is worth a shot." Well done OP!
He really cap'd it off well. As they say 'Better latte then never'
At least it didn't fall flat.
Could it be because of the date? If it’s the same date as the one in the photo.
