Amazing price. I have this and it provides brilliant coverage throughout my 3 bedroom house.
Edit
Completely out of context question. It should rather be..
Are you with nbn?Nope. I use an Optus mobile broadband sim with 200gb in a Netgear Nighthawk M1 modem and get about 80mbps throughout the house.
I have mw6 and for the life of me can't figure out why my Apple products struggle to connect on too many occasions when my Android gear connects without issue.
These are 10/100 btw.
You need the MW6 for GbE.
They arent too clear about this on their spec sheet unsurprisngly.
Do I get this, orbi, or wait for wifi 6 orbi?
you forgot the wifi 6 tenda option
MW6 or hang out for a Razer 2400 like I did.
Granted I didnt bother with a mesh given that the setup is so terrible but on a two storey house with the 2400 in one corner of the house, I'm on another floor and on the other size of the house and I'm on 4/5 bars and 216mbps out of a possible 450mbps…
I have a lot to complain about on a single razer but speed and range arent among them.
On a modern AC wifi card I often see 867 max pinned speed.
For a $60 device it exceeded my expectations.
Indeed, my conundrum exactly, and I'm waiting for wifi 6 tenda products to release
Bought the MW3 3 pack recently and thus far been pretty good.
Thanks very much, just bought a 3-pack
Bought this 4 months ago, solid unit never had issue, set up is so easy
One draw back is not able to set DHCP, if you are using it for mobile phone, Netflix and for TV you shouldn't be a problem.
Price back then is $120, it hold it's value well
Suggestion please, This or mw6 or Google mesh?
Curious to know this as well.
Usually when something is so cheap its usually very poor in performance but is this the case with this?
Is the performance of this good compared to the likes or Orbi, Google Mesh etc.
The other thing i don't quite get is does this replace my existing unit which is an Asus AC68U (running Merlins firmware)?
It has never missed a heartbeat for me since getting it in October last year. One of the best buys I've had.
Compare to what you have listed to be compared with, this is 1/3 of the price and why not give it a try
Bought one, thanks OP.
Good price
