Also,
The only difference is the extra power. USB power delivery charging stops at 20volt and to hit 100w (the maximum power the spec goes up to) it needs 5A to do that. The main difference here is an extra thick cable to handle the high current (5a vs 3a). On topic however the MacBook charges at about 50w (but i could be mistaken) , which means the 3a/60w cable will be plenty!
Edit: wait I am mistaken! It charges at 87w or something. If your charger supports it, the 5a cable will help.
15 inch MacBook Pro ships with an 87 watt power adapter, while the 13 inch model includes a 61 watt adapter.
So 5A, 100W would be a better choice.
Thanks
@Bellpop: Don't mean to be a bit skeptical of Reps products, however I would go for a brand I'm familiar with. Others here may know of MDT, but they're new to me.
Cheap but good offerings are from tronsmart, baseus, blitzwolf. Really top stuff from the likes of anker.
@incipient: Good advice. Thanks

Xiaomi Desk Mat / Mousepad:
• Item Weight 798 g
• Shipping Weight 581 g
Hmmm… Not sure how that works…
and
I'm confused too 😄
Packed full of helium, so it "weighs" less!
The 100W 1m and 2m looks to be the same size. What AWG are they?
One thing I hate about braided cable, you can never see what the cable markings are! (for either directly saying awg or serial number so you can dig it up)
Just got one, thanks!
Cheers.
Please consider leaving a review on Amazon on how your liked the cable.
Any thoughts / reviews on these cables?
I'm intending on using the cable for data (IE RAID is connected via powerpoint), but want to make sure it's also OK if I decide to use it to power/charge other devices.
What is the difference for charging my 2017 MacBook Pro with the 3a and 5a? Sorry, I don’t know much about this stuff
