  • $49 delivery which makes the whole deal $998. Still very good for a Core 2 Duo with 2GB RAM and Vista Business. Not sure about LG notebook though (never know anyone that has one).

  • Actually, using this link http://www.staticice.com.au/cgi-bin/search.cgi?q=LG+E300+ACB… the cheapest price is $1068 (They have a shop front, hence pickup).

    $1068 - $998 = $70 savings. Not at least $300 as claimed.

    However, still cheapest around though.

    • Its interesting that ONE cheap-looking web site is around $180 cheaper than well established, reputable online sellers.

None of the staticice sellers are outside NSW as well, so your SOOL if you live in one of the other 6 states in OZ.

      • Are you talking about OnlineComputer.com.au?

Interestingly when I go to their product page of LG E300-ACB20A, it says "In Stock", but when I added into the shopping cart (to figure out the shipping cost — why don't shops show them upfront?) it says

Products marked with - No stock (ETA send via email) - dont exist in desired quantity in our stock.

You can buy them anyway and check the quantity we have in stock for immediate deliver in the checkout process.

Doesn't sound like a shop I'll make my purchases from…

  • I used LG back in 2004-05, and going good. Hardly any problem at all. Bought a $3K Sony in 2006 and hardive died within 6 months. I noticed that less and less LG Laptops being "visible" in any computer store.
