  • 2GB for $6.40
  • 4GB for $8
  • 10GB for $11.60

3 month honeymoon period. Prices revert to $11, 16, 20, 29 respectively.

No contract, so you can port out before the price hikes back up.

Unlimited calls + texts within Australia and no up-front charges other than the plan itself.

Valid for orders placed from 2nd April to 29th April 2019. SIM card must be activated within 2 months. Limit to 2 customers located at the same address.

Front page says "We use parts of the Telstra Mobile Network". That means the Telstra Wholesale network (i.e. cut down version to compete with Vodafone and Optus), not the full fat Telstra retail network.

8 and 7% cashback from ShopBack(https://www.shopback.com.au/pennytel) and CashRewards(https://www.cashrewards.com.au/pennytel) respectively.

Exetel are still king with their permanent $8.99 2GB Super Saver, but if you're looking for something temporary on the Telstra network, this might be worth a look.

Does Boost use the full telstra network?

    What about Aldi?

    • This thread's comments suggest Boost uses the full fat Telstra retail network and Aldi uses the wholesale one.

    • Boost is 1st tier Telstra, their other resellers get the 2nd tier.

  • +1

This is stacks cheaper than Aldi if it uses exactly the same infrastructure…

Oops, just read that it's only for 3 months… Can't be bothered with the hassle of switching again…

    • Don’t think they can maintain any profit if they keep the honeymoon date

      • Aren't they a not-for-profit organisation?

        • Really? Not sure about that part

        • +1

Even non-profits have to stay solvent.

  • a bit expensive comparing kogan/amaysim.

    • They don't use Telstra
