$10 Coupon When Saving Your in-Store Receipt to Your Online Account @ JB Hi-Fi

Bought something this morning at JB. Asked to have receipt emailed, store rep asked for my phone number instead of email and the message contains a link lead to the page on screenshot.

You will get $15 coupon in your email upon link the in store receipt to your account.

One coupon per customer. Make sure you ask for receipt to be emailed by providing phone number. Not sure if there’s a minimum spend required.

        Just clink the receipt link that was sent to your mobile and it will work.

        You have to type in the 7 digits on the filename

    • My digital receipt number format is like this XXXXXXXXX-XXX (total 12 digits). Am I looking at the wrong number?

        There will be a pdf file attached to that digital receipt email. Look at the name of the pdf file it should look like this:

        JBHiFi-Receipt-XXXXXXX.pdf

        The XXXXXXX part is the number you need

      • I did, it says reciept already claimed, but have not received another $10 voucher. So i gues its only once per account

        • Try the second receipt with a different mobile number if you have.

    • yep, someone from the last post: claimed a $10 voucher, used that voucher and made another voucher claim on the new receipt for their free item. I had this option but decided not to get an e-receipt for my free item.

    Now they have linked your email to your phone number. It gets easier for them from here. I haven't had one spam sms or phone call that I didn't want. I imagine people who take advantage of this offer will get a gradual increase in both - not just from JB. Oh, it's worse. I suppose you have more information in your accounts?

    Just curious, if we purchase an item in store by using the $10 voucher, then ask for receipt to be emailed to a different email address. Can we then claim another $10 voucher?(assuming that we create a new account)

      However,my jb account was tied to my old, defunct email address so I asked them to resend.

    I ordered online in November 2018 and only have an order number which has JB followed by 14 digits. Am I eligible as copying it into the link doesn't seem to work.

      You're using the wrong number. You need to use the name of the pdf. It'll be 7 letters/numbers long.

      I had the same question, and the same 14 digit online order number.
      Here's what does NOT work: login to JB hifi site, go the purchase history, pick most recent entry, right click on "tax invoice", and copy that link, e.g.
      https://www.jbhifi.com.au/My-Account/Order-Invoice/?OrderId=…
      Then copy those last 7 digits to the receipts link, e.g.
      https://www.jbhifi.com.au/receipts/start?receipt=1234567
      I had hoped it might work, but it gives an "Whoops! That doesn't seem right. Please check the link you received via SMS on your mobile." error.
      So we might be out of luck for online orders :-(

    • I don't think so. You need to give them your mobile number at the check out and then follow the link you receive via text.

    I swear i rarely get asked to have a digital receipt sent. Only have one sms which i used on last years promo. They dont seem to promote getting their staff to ask people.
