This is all 4 films on Blu-ray. All region locked to A according to Blu-ray.com

Sure beats the huge mark-up for it locally (~$160 AUD - http://www.ezydvd.com.au/item.zml/802072) and this collection isn't available in the UK.

First post so be nice :)

  • Region: Region 1 (U.S. and Canada only)

    • Yes I've mentioned this fact in the deal :)

      • but not that Region 1 BluRays wont work on a lot of our players, Shaun1 makes a very valid point.

people should still to buying BluRay's from amazon uk only.

        • people should 'stick' to buying BluRay's from Amazon UK only

(sorry for typo, wouldnt let me correct)

pretty sure you can't unlock blu-ray players, so i don't think this will be very useful for anyone, unless you bought your bluray player from US/CAN? sucks because i really wanted it!

    • I've seen lots of cheap BR players locally that can have the region switched with a simple remote control code. Also for anyone with a computer/HTPC you can simply use AnyDVD HD to unlock the region (Gotta pay for a license).

oh wow really? does it stay locked as region or can you just switch back? I gotta look into this cos i really want this collection haha, cheers for the info

        • Most of the ones I've seen you can switch to any region as many times as you like, just a slight PITA having to do it every time you want to watch a particular region :)

I'm pretty sure the Soniq brand at JB can be switched, also Kogan? Would need to look into it some more mate :)

  • Kogan is region free :)

    The $160 comparison isn't really fair;

    http://www.ezydvd.com.au/item.zml/813329 - Same for $79.97

  • I have the boxset from Amazon. Although it says that the series is region A. The only film in the series that's locked is the last one.

About $21 inc postage and no region problem. Always try uk fro blurays.

    • That is for the DVDs not blu-ray….

      always try reading

  • it now says $47?

    • A.US prices fluctuate a lot. It was $20 a week ago or so and went up and down again. Keep an eye out it will likely drop back to $20 again. I've marked this deal as expired but it could still be valid in the future.
