Half the stuff can be found cheaper in local sales right here in Aus!

Didn't neg you but wouldn't that mean the other half is cheaper on ASOS? ;)

    • +2

I disagree, this site is sooo cheap, even the designer clothes are much cheaper then Aus.

      • I agree, ASOS clothes are so much cheaper that Australian retail stores.

    • yeah shame you're getting negged, they dont know you're referring to best & less and lowes.

like for like (which is hard as stores dont carry the majority of the brands on ASOS) ASOS is cheaper than anything found here. cheaper and better quality.

don't spread lies please. thank you.

Whenever I shop at Asos, I always go to the clearance section, and sort from lowest to highest. Some stuff is expensive, but I just brows at the things I am prepared to pay for, which is usually cheaper over at that site.

  • the discount code "10ASOSTREATS" has already been used and is no longer valid

Codes are account bound. So of you received an email with a code, that code must be used on the account you received the email. This seems to be the case with all their promotional codes now.

You guys are deluded if you think they are cheap. The only cheap clothes are the Asos house brand and maybe some of the clearance items. This for example was $75 in GLUE's recent sale

you might be lucky to find a bargain, or you just like to wear the Asos brand but for me, I have seen most of the clothes brands on there cheaper here in Aus..

and this? seriously wtf? These are $39 at DFO and $79 at Myer/DJ http://www.asos.com/Polo-Ralph-Lauren/Polo-Ralph-Lauren-Plai…

Whilst yes I do agree there are plenty of clothes you can get here for much cheaper, there also plenty which you cannot.

E.g. Nudie Thin Finn's. I implore you to find ANY retail outlet in Australia which sells them for even close to AU$150, or one that even has sales for Nudie Jeans. The only times I've seen Nudies on sale (at That Store & GP) don't include the popular fits/colours/sizes.

Like I said tongue in cheek earlier you'd probably find that half their selection are overpriced and you could find cheaper locally, whilst the other half is cheaper on ASOS. And half being cheaper is better than none being cheaper!

They don't deduct 20% VAT like they should, prices might be reasonable if they did.

Well we didn't say everything is cheaper on the site. You shop around and get the best price from wherever you can. I bought the GHD hair styler for £99.00 -15% off, which came to approximately
130aud, I have not seen this hair straightener for anything close to this price in Aus. I have many more examples on where I have bought items that would be almost double if bought here. It's a fact that we pay way too much for items in Aus as compared to the Europe and the US.
