Thanks OP, didnt really need it but bought one anyway🤣

    • Was on the lookout for one with an outdoor sensor and basic units usually start at $15-20. So for $8 and reading the positive reviews decided to get one also.

Bought Digoo in the past. The bigger weather station with 2 separate units was a POS. Temp was definitely wrong and it never communicated with the external sensor. Bought 2 little ones similar to these and both show diff temps and time needs to be adjusted forward every few months by a minute. Knocked one onto the floating floor whilst cleaning and it went to weather station heaven straight away.

    • Conversely, I have cheap (Digoo) one with 3 remote sensors and it has been running fine for a couple of years. Probably not the most accurate thing around but is is good enough for my simple needs and also keeps time perfectly and battery life is good.

    • thanks for your comment for a $8 weather station. so you are expecting a shockproof, weatherproof and highly accurate weather station for a very cheap price including shipping?

it never communicated with the external sensor is a major fail in an indoor/outdoor temperature monitor.

Video of 3 of these units not communicating with external sensors So possibly a known problem with this model.

I've bought excellent & accurate Oregon Scientific indoor / outdoor weather units for a few $ more on sale a few years back ($10 & ~$17 with Bluetooth for app which charts temp & humidity for up to 10 sensors). Still in daily use.

Plenty of unboxing etc vids online. Looks good. Easy to read large screen. External sensor also has temp display.

  • Just ran out of stock as I was ordering.

  • Damn, all gone…

Got mine today so far so good, temperature readings are accurate and no problem pairing with outdoor transmitter.

  • Just received mine, it's not pairing. :(

    • +1

Put batteries in the main unit first, then put batteries in the outdoor unit second, if you do it the other way round it won't pair.

Working out which way to do this is important with these devices.
Make a note on the back of unit to remind you. Each year when I recharge the Eneloops - I forget.

Thanks, this worked for me. It's accurate, compared to the other weather station unit I have, within half a degree and 2% humidity.

Bit sad that it doesn't have outdoor humidity as I bought it to replace my old one as the humidity sensor has failed. Useful on warm days to see if it's worth putting on the evaporative cooler. No complaints for the price though.

  • Received a back order email… Could be a while.
