With that kind of pressure, I wonder what kind of tank it is.
no wheel on this model?
I got the slightly more powerful model (Typhoon TE2625 1.6KW 2625PSI High Pressure Washer Cleaner with Turbo Head) for only $39 more. (i.e. after 25% off with code BTW).
Comes with wheels and a better turbo head (and a bigger Store Credit).
Most 1.4Kw cleaners pump out around 1600psi…not sure how they managed to get 2400psi from this unit.
its easy
You change the 16 to 24, and then you print that on the box!
Pump pressure:
Rated: 70bar = 1015 PSI
Max: 105bar = 1523 PSI
It'll make 2400 psi, just maybe not at a useful flow rate i.e. it'll make up the shortfall with a flow restrictor.
So did we decide if this is a worthy OzBargain?
I would just buy something from bunnings, at least you get a nice return policy.
Does this have to be connect to the tap?
I am after a portable one that can store water.
This is false and misleading advertising. Operating pressure is what the pump works at, stated in a comment above 1015psi. Maximum pressure is that if magically the pressure inside the unit reaches 2400psi, the unit will withstand the pressure and not fall appart. That is like putting 20.000rpm rev meter on a diesel engine that can not do more than 5000rpm at no load…. stay away from this bs.
If you bother to read the description they never claim it to be 2400psi, it is advertised with its true rated pressures and an EWP or effective working pressure of 2400psi which is using the turbo nozzle it is the same cleaning power as a flat fan nozzle on a 2400psi machine. Way better build quality than the Bunnings crap and heaps better value for money. And what good is a return for refund warranty with no questions asked like bunning has if the machine keeps breaking down. What a waste of time. At least this has some build quality.
I wonder what the real pressure is though.
