Paradise Fancies Sweet Jam Biscuits 250g $1.42 (Was $2.93) @ Woolworths

490

Greetings everyone, just found these on Price Hipster as part of my weekly shop! They've been this price since the 27th of Feb, but they seem to not be in the catalogue for some reason.

This is the first time these have ever been lower than $2, a great price for these biscuits, and they're delicious in my opinion.

I believe this price ends tomorrow, but as they're not specificied in the catalogue, it could extend past that.

As always, enjoy :)

      They're not cheap.

Jesus Christ thats expensive. Do you know what website you're on friend? Haha

      • They're not. $36 for 12 boxes making each $3. you misread

        • Or if you just want one box, they're $3.50 at Coles.

          • @jv: Do they taste more than twice as good? Otherwise no bargain

            • @Shoocat: Yep, they taste 115% better.

        • It doesn’t say anything about 12 “boxes” on the mobile site. Makes sense now though!

          • @[Deactivated]: Confirmed, ont he mobile site it clearly says $36 for 500grams and “can” be purchased as a 12 box. Seems like they should fix this error!

  • I recall seeing these at my local the other day - I thought they were on clearance, that's why it's not in catalogue? Maybe I'm wrong, but if you're a fan then stock up just in case they are clearing them.

These taste so much nicer I think than the Arnott's Rasberry shortcakes

  • have a try of the woolworths coconut cream biscuits. I was pleasantly surprised by their taste, and price.

    • I wasn't aware they had raspberry jam in them…

      • I wasn't aware Jam Fancies had raspberry jam in them:

        Ingredients

Wheat Flour, Jam (18%) [Plum (59%), Sugar, Gelling Agent (Pectin), Food Acid (330), Preservative (202), Flavour], Vegetable Fats And Oils [Antioxidant (307)], Sugar, Golden Syrup, Salt, Wheat Starch, Raising Agents (500, 503), Colour (160b).

        • #fakejam

  • YMMV, but I find these pretty good for the price and not too sickly sweet for mine.

  • What do people think of these compared to the Arnott's Jam Shortbread version? I found the Arnott's to be to sweet and the biscuit tasted really dry and bad. I had a weird craving the other day for coffee scroll biscuits only to find they no longer exist. Guess that's what happens when you haven't bought/eaten biscuits in 15 plus years.

    • I like arnotts more simply because they are shortbread.

Paradise is like a soft cookie texture, like subway cookies.

I miss the Paradise biscuits with the marsmallow bits and coconut spinkled on top.
