This is my first deal so let me know if something's not where it should be.

I just got this link from the Supercars app. It's a promotion for the Superloop Adelaide 500 event this weekend.

$5 for the Kayo Sports Basic package for the first month for new customers.

Thanks OP. Im now onto my third month for a total of $10. Hopefully they do another deal for the NRL next month.

  • Wasn't it a free trial?

    • +3

There's still a free trial but for only 14 days. This is $5 for a full month so if you activate it now you'll get the first two rounds of Supercars, the first race of the F1 year and the start of the footy seasons. And ongoing American sports.

      • Thanks OP. I want to watch HSBC Rugby sevens from Sat March 2nd till April 8th (Hong Kong Sevens). If I activate the 14 days free offer today and then take the $5 full month offer before the Sunday expiry, will my $5 full month start AFTER the 14 days expires or will it run concurrent please?

I don't know if it works that way, sorry. I think by taking the $5 offer you're essentially picking that over the 14 day trial. I don't think you can have both or stack them.

The only way I can think of is signing up for the trial with a different credit card once the $5 month is over. Or get a friend/family member to do it and have you become a user on their account.

1 month free trial with NBL
      2 x 1 month for $5 each
      $10 total

      • This offer still on?

Make sure you check your statements got charged twice. They were quick to fix but only cause I told them.

  • Or 14 day free trial

    • The 14 days will get you to the Australian GP if you activate it this Sunday. If you want to catch the start of the footy seasons though you'd need get the full month.

The Android TV app was just released, and it's the best of the bunch :)

It's not officially supported on the Vodafone TV yet, but the app works fine when sideloaded - apk is here:

Remember when Labor and Liberal said major sporting events would always be on free to air?

Oh wait, the population votes to lose it's own money like numpties by electing Governments that privatise everything, what was I thinking: they don't give a crap about their money.

If you believed that would last i got a unicorn to sell ya

  • Adelaide 500 is on ch10 free to air - so better off waiting until just before the next round if you're buying it for supercars (assuming the deal stays around/comes back for the 2nd round).

    • The offer ends on Sunday unfortunately. So if you're buying it for Supercars I'd recommend getting it on Friday for all the extended coverage.

  • Damn! Signed up last weekend for a trial to watch the World Superbikes at Phillip Island, oh well. Pretty good service so far IMO.

Thanks OP, signed up for the $5 deal, watching the Supercars right now on the Apple TV on the big screen…Awesome value compared to Foxtel packages, but with pretty much all of the benefits of Foxtel. Working extremely well, multi screens are very cool.

    • No worries! Just make sure you cancel the plan in your Settings if you don't want to be automatically charged $25 for next month if you don't want to continue it.

  • Was thinking of getting the 14 day free trial, but this works better me thinks.

  • Android TV app is available from today…
