The below Terms and Conditions are specific and applicable to holders of the Zoos Victoria Victorian School Prep Bag Zooper Hero Membership:
The Victorian Public School Prep Bag Zooper Hero Membership is only valid for a child entering the preparatory level at any Victorian State Public School in 2019. To be eligible, the child must be born within 1 January 2013 to 30 April 2014. The Zooper Hero membership does not include additional family members.
The redemption of the offer can only be actioned via a Zoos Victoria website www.zooperhero.zoo.org.au .The membership cannot be redeemed at any of the three Zoos Victoria properties or via phone.
The Zooper Hero Membership offer is valid from 29 January 2019 – 13 December 2019. The Zooper Hero Membership cannot be redeemed before or after these dates.
All activated Zooper Hero Membership will expire on 20 December 2019. An automatic renewal for the following year will be at the discretion of Zoos Victoria.
The Zooper Hero Member will be emailed their membership barcode/pass once the activation has been completed. No packs, membership cards or Zoo News will be mailed to the new member.
A valid Zooper Hero Membership grants the listed member unlimited entry during normal opening hours to Melbourne Zoo, Healesville Sanctuary and Werribee Open Range Zoo until 20 December 2018.
A Zooper Hero Membership is not refundable, not transferable and only the named person listed on a membership pass may use it. There is no pro-rata or refund membership subscriptions.
To gain entry to Melbourne Zoo, Healesville Sanctuary and Werribee Open Range Zoo, Members must present to Zoos Victoria staff a valid Zoos Victoria Membership pass.
Membership entry benefits do not apply to Zoo Twilights, or other similar events. Zooper Hero Membership entry benefits do not apply to school, kindergarten and childcare visits.
For Zoos Victoria members who live in Victoria or Tasmania, reciprocal entry rights to selected interstate zoos (Taronga Zoo, Taronga Western Plains Zoo, Adelaide Zoo, Monarto Zoo and Perth Zoo) applies to all membership types. All Zoos Victoria members must present a valid membership pass upon entry, along with identification for the adult members. Failure to do this may result in you being charged a non-refundable entry by our partner zoos.
Reciprocal rights between interstate zoos are only applicable to zoo entry – no further discounting on retail purchases or food outlets will be applied. This term is also applicable to interstate zoo members entering a Zoos Victoria property.
Membership privileges, terms and conditions may be amended or revoked at Zoos Victoria’s discretion.
The promotion of 10% off additional Zoo Victoria Memberships is valid up to and including the 29th of March 2019. The 10% off is valid for Adult, Concession and Senior Memberships only. Valid for redemption online only. Not valid with any other offer. Discount not redeemable for cash. A promo code will be provided in the Zooper Hero Membership confirmation email and can be redeemed when purchasing a Membership online

    Not sure what the point of this is, kids are free on weekends and school holidays, so the only time you would have to pay is when they are supposed to be in school anyway. Maybe if you live nearby and go after school or on pupil free days.

    The 10% off adult memberships before the end of March might be useful to some.

    Yes, it’s normally free for kids In weekends/public holidays/school holidays at the Melbourne Zoos.
    Bargain is the reciprocal rights which allows into the interstate zoos for free. Used ours often when visiting Sydney.

Children between the ages of 4 and 15 will be charged an entry fee. All Zoos Victoria members must present a valid membership card upon entry, along with photo identification for the adult members. Failure to do this will result in you being charged a non-refundable entry by our partner zoos.

      It says free, yet 4 to 15 need to pay. Only free if you are from Vic and TAS residents visiting interstate zoos.
