This is really overpriced even at $27.90.

    You get a $2 3.5MM male-to-male cable, a 3.5MM-RCA male-to-male and a pair of unknown quality IEMs.

I'm pretty sure you could get that for around $10 delivered from various other sites (DX, eBay). Big-W aren't even doing free shipping on this one. Nothing against the poster, but I wouldn't bother with this unless it was an urgent buy.

Not the best idea to be using isolating earphones in the car when you need to react to emergency services vechicles.

    • My guess is the titles just missing some punctuation.
      Should read:
Listen on the go, in the car (and/or) listen at home.

      • In what way does that rephrasing make isolation earphones in the car better for hearing emergency vehicles?

        • where in that line of text (or even the original text) does it specify you use the headphones in the car?

I would imagine the 3.5mm cable would be the 'car' component, connecting device to most modern car stereos.

'On the go' would be where you would use the headphones (and this may shock you), but people walk, run, bike etc. There are plenty of other forms of 'on the go' than on your arse in a car.

The 3.5mm-RCA cable would then go to making up the 'at home' line, plugging it directly into any equipment with the necessary audio-in connection.

        • Ah, so you're suggesting the addition of the word "respectively" on top of the use of proper punctuation would be helpful.

          Sounds good to me.

  • Maybe you're a passenger ?
