After this popular deal sold out last time it's back again, but at a slightly higher price. However, you can stack with cashback for a better discount.

These are good for mounting your Google Home Mini on the wall, ceilings or wherever else you have a power point. They reduce the cable mess and both holders connect to each other via magnets. I personally use a few mounted in the bedroom and behind the TV.

Do note it's a tight fit for the power adapters, but it'll still fit. See here.

Would this make their directional mics less effective?

    • +3

They're not being covered and I haven't experienced any issues.

  • Neat little accessory!

  • +1

Does it come with an AU plug?

    • +3

The power adapter comes with your Google Mini. This is just a mount to put it in.

  • +4

Couldn't get my AU plug to fit it…

    • +2

      It's a tight fit.

    • +1

It's doesn't need to fit the whole way. It holds on just fine and has never slipped off . Been 6 months and going strong

    • +1

Yes, super duper tight. Be prepared to spend 10mins+ to put it on.

    • Mine was tight but fitted great as well

  • I've got one of these and I love it

Tip- if you get one don't try and force the cover all the way over the plug. It's not meant to be completely covering it, just needs to be about 3/4 of the way on, holds very well so don't worry.

    time to buy another one.

I just bought a bunch but the reviews have me worried. A lot of people saying the magnets are far too weak.

    • Mine's on a wall plug and hasn't moved unless I move it

    • I got one delivered and the magnet is too weak to hold the speaker to the plug. Not impressed.

      • +1

Same goes with mine, the magnet is super weak.

I put the black magnet that it comes with, in behind the charger, then wrapped the silicon on top and it did the trick.

        • Cheers my dude I will give that a try.

          • +1

@melvin84: I literally played with the thing for 20mins trying to work out a solution. You don't need the two pieces of 3m tape, only the black magnet. Let me know you go.

  • Thanks Clear (OP) Ordered two. Where mine are located at the moment is not the best.

  • +1

They work fine, even with the AU plug, as others have said it's a tight fit and doesn't cover the whole way like using the US plugs.

I also ended up shaving some of the edges off so it's easier to fit it in to another plug when used on a twin outlet.

  • Having read the amazon reviews, I get the impression that the grey variant is ok but people who bought the charcoal version had problems with the fit?

  • +1

Loving the second last photo on the Amazon product page - having a powerpoint in the shower cubicle doesn't seem dangerous at all…

  • i am more interested in the KIWI design Battery Base for the home mini instead.
    Any deal ?

  • +7

I was going to buy this a while ago but figured that a piece of double sided mounting tape did the same job. I just attached it to the plug and wrapped the cable around the plug. Looks perfect and does the same job.

    • +1

      Velcro works as well

  • +1

Will you still be able to use the plug next to it?

  • grey ones seem to have a favourable review. got a couple . see how i go.

  • +1

    okay google

    okay lets try again

  • Does this come with Australian plug?

  • +1

Anyone know where i can buy the google adaptor plug? I couldn't find mine and without it you can't really use it. I just use some other usb based plug
