Received an email in my spam folder:

Save BIG on your Mobile Plans - Start the year right!

The Family Essentials team understands how surprisingly expensive mobile phone bills can be! Especially, over the summer holidays when the kids are checking Instagram and using their phones to text and call their friends to catch up every day! We have secured a deal with Yomojo to help Australian families SAVE BIG while staying connected with flexible mobile SIM and mobile broadband plans with NO lock-in contracts.

Take advantage of MORE DATA and big savings all year round with the exclusive SkoolBag Offer. Use the promo code “SKOOLBAG” during checkout and you will receive 50% OFF ON ALL MOBILE PLANS FOR THE FIRST 3 MONTHS!

Yomojo are leading the way in Australia with one of the only telco’s to allow you to slash your costs further with Family Bundle Discounts (hint: add more than one SIM to your account & save up to an extra 15% off your total bill, ALL year round!). Don’t miss out on this limited time offer and start the year right by saving money on your mobile phone bills.

*Offer expires 22nd March 2018. Normal T&C’s apply (see website for details)

So theoretically that means:

$4.95 per month for 1GB, 200mins and unlimited texts.
or
$17.45 per month for 16GB and unlimited calls/texts.
or
$34.95 per month for 50GB of mobile broadband.

but only for first 3 months :)

Might be decent for some people. It says you can discount the plans further if you add more than one of the mobile plans.

Unsure if the referral links on here are still active, but I guess that might give you an extra $20 off too!

  • who are these guys?

    • a bunch of scammers who take your money even though you turn off auto recharge

  • I had a very good run with Yomojo a while back… Switched to OVO because they were cheaper. Yomojos 250gb 4g home internet for $79/mth looks great! No contract, just trying to see if I can get out of the modem

  • Hands down the worst Telco running around. The fact this company is not dead is living proof of money laundering. Stay away.

  • I used these guys for 3 years, not a single problem, customer service quite good (can chat to someone live on their website). From memory they use telstra network so coverage was good too.
