  Half price? Although it's a good deal, cheapest price going around, it's certainly not half price. I got a slab for $40 at 1st Choice the other day.

    For those wishing it is not Vic only, feel better because NEITEHR Dans nor 1st Choice MUST price match outside of a 10 km radius
    First choice have even got to the point in Werribee, Hoppers and Point Cook of handing a flyer out when you take the item to the counter.

  This price matching deal has been a farce at the Ballarat Dan Murphy's store for sometime now. With the hidden stock that is confirmed instock online, haven't been able to get a slab for months now. Im kinda glad to see the end of it if the 10KM rule is now strictly enforced, so I dont get suckered again by them. Also they used to price match under a $1, now that incentive to buy from them is a mere 10 cents. Forget it Dan, you fail

    Occassionally in the age, but usually its just an ad for Get Wines Direct and doesn't mention beer.

  So what do people think of Carlsberg and how does it compare to the other beers on offer? I haven't had one for a while.

  Is it a local produed beer under license(like many others now days) or imported?

    Pretty sure it's locally produced, but don't take my word for it. I really like it, but don't let it get too warm, doesn't hold up well compared to other beers (especially draughts). I got a slab for $40 and am happy with the purchase.

  can anyone confirm whether this works at the Doncaster Dan Murphy's.

  As the crow flies it would probably be right on the border of 10k's (okay that might be pushing it, but cheap beer is cheap beer)
