ARMA is a good game
however its very close to an army simulation (if you can call of duty like games, stay clear)
i.e.
no health packs
20 minute walks (crawl) to missions
if your seen andu have killed ur enemy, ur dead
u need a good computer to run it

i recommend getting the add'ons/patches
the recent update has optimised the game alot (runs alot smoother)

I remember playing the demo of this game and finding it really complicated - it has a much steeper learning curve compared to your average shooter.

But for $8 I'll give it another go. Thanks.

I hope its like GRAW.

We used to play GRAW till dawn on 4 player LAN coop.

Was fun except for the 20min walks to missions.

its simialr to the first operation flashpoint

the makers split, with ARMA and operation flashpoint 2+ the two parties

ARMA is a WAR simulator

very simialr to VBS (or somwthing like that) which is whta the army uses

if you enjoy crawling around, planning attacks and realism in fighing 9bullet drop for snipers, fatigue afftecting shooting, wind impact on bullets etc)
