  • I can't wait for the day that Indomie releases like bulk amounts of their Mi Goreng recipe in like a big jar or something of each individual item so you can just buy say a kg of bumbu powder and a litre of the sesame oil or palm oil or whatever and you can just buy that and be able to make large size portions of Mi Goreng easily by just taking the bulk ingredients out and making it whenever you want how much of each you want to whatever amount you fancy.

I love cooking like day sometimes 4 packs at a time but having to open each packet for each pack especially the liquid sachets is really annoying and can get tedious and messy at times as well as all that packaging that could be saved if they just allow us to buy the ingredients in bulk and maybe just have a serving spoon to signify one packs worth amount so we don't fudge up the portions in the recipe.

I mean we can buy the kecap manis already that's easy, the fried onions are also easy, palm oil I think is also a little bit easy but the last two bumbu powder and that other oil liquid is hard to find I am still searching.

I feel like Indomie might have a store somewhere in the world that already does this (sell bulk amounts of the individual ingredients of the popular Mi Goreng recipe) but to this day I still have not found it.

    • Wouldn't it be the same just buying a kg of MSG?

    • I googled imitation Indomie and this came up. Maybe it would serve you to try.

      • I think that recipe is really close but there is something about Indomie's specific recipe that is really good like really good otherwise normally I wouldn't eat it because it is so unhealthy.
