  • Newcastle is a great airport. Parking is especially cheap.

    • Compared to Sydney maybe,but it had a price rise not long ago..I wouldn't call it 'cheap'

  • IF you are a Jetstar memeber
    IF you want to leave at a low use time like 6pm Saturday night (might be other flights I'm not sure)
    IF you have a Jetstar credit card

    And FFS make sure you don't want to transfer the ticket into someone elses name ($90 each way, ie $180 return, transfer charge). Recently went through this, cost around 5% less to buy new tickets.

    • There's a reason name changes cost so much. Avoids ticket scalping. Although same family name changes should be allowed at minimal cost.
