Maybe put VIC for those who don't know where Southland is. Good deal for $80 but I think only available at that store.

    • Oops, thanks.
      Added VIC to the title.

  • thats not bad!

  • thats good value

the usb sticks are probably $30 by themselves

    5 pcs for $50

not counting all that other shit

  • Yah, saw it at H N Southland. JB Southland was able to price match but I didn't buy it thinking that I might get it cheaper elsewhere. Silly me. Well, I finally bought it at JB Knox. The store was kind enough to price match. H N Knox was not able to price match. Guy said they won't price match Southland store because it is closing down. Guy at DSE Knox rang up H N Southland and claimed that the price there is the same as DSE ($149.95)!

  • How much better is this than a free alternative like MS Security Essentials?

    • This has more features than MSE - scheduled backups, online backups, a whole heap of other addons to improve security etc..

Though of course if you're computer savvy you won't need any of those, just use a free antivirus and a bit of common sense.

MSE is all you need. I wouldn't install anything from Norton on any of my machines.

      • Second that… best way to bugger a computer … install Nortons.

    • You get a lot more in 360. eg Registry cleaner. But it slows down you PC. Handy product of non technical person.

Why pay money for this garbage product when Avira & better alternatives out there are free?

    • Because HN sells it, and I wanna financially support Mr.Harvey so he can continue to impose his high standards for the Australian retail industry.
48 month "interest free with no fees" purchases, friendly, honest and knowledgeable staff and cheerful franchisees who accept return goods with good ol' Aussie spirit and a cuppa - thanks, HN, you're the best.

  • Good one, grabbed one today

  • IDK people, but the last time I inserted a Norton Internet Security into my pc, it made everything so slow. So it pulled it out and went for an exchange at dicksmith. And then I used CA, that made my computer have virus with the blue desktop screen. Then I switched to McAfee, I've been happy since!!! XD And McAfee does not slow your comptuter down noticably like Norton does.

    • Symantec was the first company to ship the internet security suite, way back in 2000. I remembered how the first versions of NIS used to slow down my PC. I installed NIS 2010 a couple of years ago and was impressed by its seamless working in the background and not chewing up resources.

I was once told NIS is a virus itself.
