Will this flash-fry an entire buffalo in 40 seconds?

    • +4

40 seconds? But I want it now!

Now I can have my own fish and chips fryer? Almost endless fried fish and chips, chicken, and whatever else I can throw into the fryer

      • Sounds delicious! Will give it a try next time!

As a traveller in Scotland, it was a mandatory purchase! My gf & Dr didn't approve.

… as long as you have 3 phase power
    ‘14 kW 60.9 Amps 3 phase’

    • This is a pretty important point.

  • +1

Has to be a pricing error..because normally this would cost something like $5,000 +GST - https://www.hospitalitysuperstore.com.au/austheat-electric-t…
Edit: or perhaps low in qty available?

I will be very surprised if this is a real deal. Recommended retail on these units is $6678. I'd say someone has missed a 0.

99% a price error, but last time Catch stuffed up I got a $20 voucher.

I'm tempted, even though I don't need one. This is the definition of a great Ozbargain post.

    • The hidden costs of this deal might dampen your enthusiasm…
Paying the electrician to install 3 phase power to operate it would likely cost more than this deal. (Unless you are installing in commercial premises with that supply.)
      Paying the electricity bills @14kW
      +$49-469+ delivery

Better open a fish shop to pay the bills😀

      • If it's worth $5k, couldn't you sell it for use in a commercial kitchen for $3k on gumtree?

  • …perfect for the chiko rolls deals!

    • Ooh yeah yum!

  • bought 2 for LOLz

Price back up to 6K, pricing error :(

Yep it smelled a bit fishy to me.

    • I won't carry a chip on my shoulder about it though.

  • $576.71 was the discount lol I wonder if anyone tried to buy one at that price, it wouldn't be honored anyway.

    Ordered 6, was just refunded..
There goes my dream of the Fish & Chips shop!

    • And your political career😉
