Hey guys, I received an email about this and thought I would post it for those who may be interested.
I assume all stores will be doing this.
Happy Easter to you all!

fair call that… huge savings after easter!
This deal is good for those who want something for Sunday but :)stock up for next year!
i might wait till it's 80% off after the Easter.
The Cadbury easter eggs are awesome!! I love it!
But it's just so over priced right now!yeah true. this year i just bought the cadbury blocks when they were 2 for $5 and melting them down to make big eggs lol.
lol true ozbarginer
don't you need some pottery skills to do that :O
Waiting til Easter eggs are ridiculously cheap is silly, there will be little left
But getting them at a bargain price is the OzBargain way :)
awesome got a couple more to buy ..
all supermarkets etc apart from servos will have similar thing on easter Saturday, will be 50% minimum off on monday though, so unless ur desperate or picky, then its a bit useless to buy on saturday, i myself will purchase just a big bag to share on saturday as i have a gathering :(
Hah, hah, I'll take the hit to the wallet (although I do shop around) and have my kids remember Easter Sunday as the one where they got chocolate eggs… not the memories of getting sweet f.a til later in the week because dad was a real tight arse. LOL
OH F**K!
1000 ozbargain points for someone who buys a reasonable sized Cadbury easter egg and buys a few blocks of Cadbury chocolate.
Why? Because…
Melt the chocolate blocks down to a liquid, drill a smallish hole in the top of the egg, wait until it's almost cooled and solidified again then quickly pour the melted chocolate into the egg. Quickly shove in the fridge to cool it down before it melts, re-wrap and watch someone trying to eat a 300g solid egg!
The points are if you youtube it!

done!
not really a full sold egg but an easter egg
Does this count?
lol, interesting idea you have there.. :)
Does this "30% off the day before you give them" sale mean "Shite we ordered too many of these again this year" , or is it just a sign of the times that business is just plain tough?
I think they know that most people will have already bought up…… This will just add that extra little bit of temptation for them to spend a bit more……
I have found Target to be expensive so they are probably just discounted to the price of the other chains kmart , big w
I think I read on www.greekbargain.com.au (just kidding) that on years where Greek (eg Orthodox) Easter is a week after "mainstream" Easter, much rejoicing is heard through in those families who can buy the half price eggs on the Monday and give them on the following Sunday (their Easter Sunday)
Yeah, I remember when I went to school I had a Greek friend who hit the jackpot one year (courtesy of the timing) and got literally dozens of Easter eggs - he was stoked and we were all insanely jealous.
I was just in the USA and Cadbury sell easter eggs over there! Who'da thunk!!
Kraft Foods(USA) owns Cadbury now and anyhow, Cadbury was a British owned company and never an original Australian company.
it's funny that Australia has the largest Cadbury selection, when compared to the the UK

its smarter to offer a 30% discount and have less stock (post easter), than to have left over stock and sell at a lower profit margin (whodda thought)
think you lost somebody with the way you worded it
so its 30% off today and then monday more than 50%?
just want to confirm coz i always miss it every year and this time im not going to miss it! lol
Generally all stores (Target, K-mart, Woolworthes, etc) reduce easter eggs by approx 50%, maybe more, after easter to clear their stock. It will not be an advertised sale, it just happens.
You know the one group who ALWAYS celebrates after easter?
Dentists…
A hug for NachoMafia! Thanks heaps for finding this deal. Pick up heaps of eggs and bunnies today. Target had awesome prices on the 100g Lindt bunny ($3.50 vs $3.95 for the 50g at Big W) and 200g Cadbury bunnies for $3. Ended up spending $40 but saved heaps and I'll look generous tomorrow giving away all those big bunnies :P
Mmmm Chocolate
Junk food is a lot less tempting when you're already full :]
mmm i dont buy easter eggs till after easter. i wait until they get to over 50% off though, because they are still a rip off compared to normal chocolate at 30%.
