For $2 more I’ll drive down to Bankstown, Gia Hoi. Gigantic portion, good menu varieties and most important best taste. Beware this Gia Hoi have nothing to do with the other Gia Hoi restaurants, this is the original.
Or you can got to AN Restaurant Bankstown, they make good Pho as well.
An has got to be the worse Pho restaurant in terms of customer service.
They charge you for EVERYTHING. Extra bowl, water and the air you breathe.
They are the only restaurant I know that doesn't do meatball Pho, you must order it as a side dish and it's not like they are cheap to begin with.
Boycotted this place over a decade ago.
Also Huong Xua at Cabramatta John Street has Pho for $10 on Tuesday's and Wednesday's.
Plenty of cheap options further out west, but this is good value for pho in the inner west.
Considering the drive from Marrickville to Bankstown is ~14km, a return trip of 28km in a car with a fuel consumption of 7L/100km yields a fuel usage of 1.96L. At $1.30 per litre, thats another $2.55 you've spent on petrol :P
This is even before you consider thats a 1 hour round trip :(

you can get a bowel of Pho for $10 any time in Richmond, Springvale or Sunshine VIC tho. My personal favourite is Co Do. They are both in Springvale and Sunshine.
