Not sure if 1500ish is a good deal for this gaming laptop but using 2x Amex cards to bring down to 1200ish is not that bad.

  The Dell Inspiron 15 has the same specs and regularly goes on eBay sale for around $1200 (sale just finished where it was $1279.20). Might be worth waiting for if you can't get the AMEX cards.
