  Should mention which Note 9 that is, usually at the lower price point its Single Sim/Carrier stock. Dual variant is a bit more expensive.

      Nah, samsung-direct stock is dual. Box will have a "DUOS" on the outside.

      Note 8 was single-sim unless you purchased from overseas.

      Thats not strictly true. As long as the seller charged GST on the product and is itemised on the invoice (with ABN number), then you can claim the GST back via the TRS scheme.
