Yep, more cheap food from Amazon Prime

Sakata Classic BBQ Rice Crackers, 100 Grams delivered for Prime memebers for $1
or for the those without, if they can snaffle 50 packets, it'll also be free!

Made from cage-free rice and other mysterious salty substances

Sorry no other flavours, just BBQ.
Why just BBQ? Maybe Amazon's salute to Australia Day? Maybe to give people that BBQ taste without the risk of burning the place down? Maybe….oh I think i've reached the word limit.

No idea when it finishes

I only noticed today in Woolworths that the Sakata plain and wholemeal varieties are Australian made, the other flavours are now 'Product of Thailand' which must have happened within the last month or so.
I've let them know my disappointment by email, as the plain flavours are now the only two rice crackers left on the market still made in Australia.

    • At present only the plain, seaweeds and bbq flavours are the only ones that are still made in Australia but they soon will be outsourced overseas too. So stock up while you can.

      • Thanks for confirming despite it being terrible news for the Australian consumer and the Australian economy.
I will have to find an alternative Australian-made snack now after stocking up.
