    As I mentioned, I agree. Come on… first time posters.. Don't do this.

    I don't want to see two deals of the same item, from the same company, one for online and one for in store purchase.

    Give the original poster the positive votes - I did vote positive on the original deal and I refuse to vote positive on this one.

      Yeah but Optus use 900MHz in the country.

      Telstra model is 850/2100MHz and Optus model is 900/2100MHz.

        Well Telstra one is 850/1900/2100 - 1900 is useless in Australia.

        I reckon that in most areas, 850 and 2100 will serve you well. In rural areas, I think it is safer to go with Tel$tra.

    Wrong thread for the question… But the answer is no.

    The retail shops cannot see the online orders. It is Tel$tra.. most of their systems are scattered. You need to talk to the right department just to check the online status. I was given 3 numbers.

  doesnt say it's unlocked on Telstra's website.

  Is it unlocked if u walk into the store to get it?
  If it's locked to Telstra…then any idea anyone on the unlocking fee?

  Anyone know I can pick up one in Melbourne (Northern area) today? Tried to ring Telstra Northland and was told they have no stock, and don't know when new stock arrive.

      Don't bother from JBHifi starting today. Read my other post in the last page of JBHifi deal. They stop selling it.

  Just got mine today and i ordered on monday morning.

  A bit dissapointed, as both boxes are smashed, and one of them is already openned.
  The sticker clearly marked "Do not accept if seal is broken."

  So should i get it returned?

  went instore today at Westfield Kotara (not franchise) and they would not sell at $299… I had to buy a 2 year data pack at $20 per month…

    Try Charlestown Sq dude, they guys that work there are actually pretty damn cool, did not try to stuff me around at all! I grabbed one there during the week & they said they still had a couple left in stock! :)

    I wasn't gonna buy one initially; but well, I just couldn't resist at this price! As per the other guys, I'm really stoked with it! :D

    P.S. I would have revoked my neg because I did actually manage to walk into a store & buy one; but since the vote is over 72hrs old I can't do it myself…mods feel free to do it if you like! ;)
