I did received a tax invoice from futu online with 10% gst, they just use another company name. and they ship pretty fast as well from my 2~3 times purchase experience.
Due to not using Futu before, we were unaware,
Thank you for clarifying
Future are legit and charge GST.
I have bought from them and their affiliate Shopping Express many times.
Their ABN is 83 095 108 777 (Kai Seng Technology Solution Pty Ltd).
I'm with bossmode, this isn't a deal given that Futu are a decent amount cheaper.
Hi there,
As mentioned above,
We have not dealt with Futu before,
Thanks for clarifying.
You may want to stop using yahoo search and use something like google because typing in "futu online" brings back plenty of information about their business.
For example one search result…
Wade Qian - Ecommerce Product Manager - Futu Online | Shopping …
https://www.linkedin.com/in/wade-qian
Ecommerce Product Manager at Futu Online eBay / Shopping Express & K.S Computer | eCommerce | Product Management | Digital Marketing | Website …And the second search result…

Ebay has a 20% off deal with Futu Online going at the moment. I was hoping anyone with experience might offer their perspective. I'm looking …Click the link and the third post is
"Purchased from them several times without problem. They are associated with the online store Shopping Express if that helps."
One way they may cut costs through eBay is not pay GST
That would be a plus, the GST is an unfair tax that ensures everyone reading this pays tax at a higher rate than Qantas who take roughly one billion dollars in profit every year. Any business that doesn't pass it on should be commended.
Hi Bossmode,
Having a closer look at the offer before I closed it, I did notice that the offer included multiple stores,
This tells us that the deal is run by Ebay itself and not the store,
From past experience selling on Ebay, Ebay may run offers on your products and you will not lose any margins off these products, in return, Ebay gains customers, sales and most importantly, site traffic increasing the chance for a user to buy more than they came for or make an impulsive purchase,
I hope this helps you understand how they achieve 20% off on a brand new cardSitewide discounts are funded by eBay.
Promotion discounts are funded by the retailer and this includes where you have a group of retailers as ebay offers certain stores the "opportunity" to take part in these promotions. In this example the 20% off is funded by the retailer.
Tell Callum I said "Hi!" He's a nice bloke
I have recently seen a couple of your posts CGB, such as the GTX1080 a couple of days back.
Posting deals on Ozbargain with higher prices then current deals of the exact same product, also posted on Ozbargain may upset people.
I don’t know what your overheads are or what your supply costs are. However my advice working in a similar industry, you need to undercut other sellers massively with a couple of incredible deals. This will grow your name overnight and build great repaul with customersExample prices
Base models ofcourse
RTX2080 $900
RTX2070 $629
RTX2060 $500
GTX1080 $580You will sell a lot and make a lot of money
Hi there Shaw,
We are well aware we have been taken on a ride with the GTX 1080 deal and ended it for that reason
As far as we are concerned the current prices advertised undercut local stores.
We do not take Ebay stores into account when trying to achieve a competitive price,
Regards
CGB SolutionsUnfortunately that's a mistake on your behalf… I've bought almost all my tech in the last 6months off ebay from either the seller mentioned above or one of the other popular ones racking up to atleast 15k worth. End of the day we won't be seeing it as a bargain as we can get cheaper elsewhere with great service.
That a stupid approach, that's like Harvey Norman saying he won't take into account internet retailers when trying to achieve a competitive price.
Like it or not but ebay is a legitimate source and refusing to take into account Australian sellers on ebay is pointless especially when you are an online retailer.
build great repaul
Do you mean rapport?
Not rapport, Rupaul, great show
Im trying to forget it exists…
They have to sell a RTX 2080 $200 cheaper than EVERYONE else on staticice for what??? To make a loss? To make you happy?
Gimme a break.
Be realistic.
Funny that Futu online is suddenly being held in high regard in this thread when it suits yet in others they are price jackers and a company that has awful warranty support, and that's verified by many….
But hey, double standards.
Futu has become the benchmark for Jack prices, so if a store is advertising sale prices on ozbargain that are even more expensive than Futu you know you are really getting ripped off!!
Still amazes me that retailers think that people browsing this site don't know genuine sale prices from fake sale prices. And then to simply rubbish the competition and say they aren't genuine Aus company paying GST….
They are still $10 cheaper than anyone on Staticice. So let's not be too critical.
Futu is out of stock anyway, and was probably one of the items they forgot to jack anyway…
And this isn't taking into account their awful support reputation.
Trying to help here, as your mobile site needs some serious work and imo a whole layout change. No website search or brand categories? Scorptec and PCCG sites are great examples although would have a lot more $ behind them so incomparable. Anyway, best of luck with the business.
Thank you for this,
We are working on a new site and improving it Dashboard and ease of useNo worries and best of luck with it!
Wheres the saving though?
Savings are indicated by the price slash under the image of the product. Savings are currently around $60-$65 on all Gigabyte 2060 Cards. This does not include the 2060+PSU bundle.
Sorry, was trying to point out it isn't really an OzBargain
Savings range from $50-$60 from our original price
Thanks for your post, CGB Solutions. I’m not the most tech savvy on the forums but if you wouldn’t mind answering this; why would a consumer consider your posted deal over this current deal that’s live on ebay?
