      • +1

He just simply want more $$$

      • +9

Welcome to OzBargain, where the most entitled Australians come to whinge about how bad discounts are.

I attempted to use this code shortly after it listed and it said it was already expired. Really? In less than 15 mins?

      Second time that’s happened.

I can see why people post negative comments on these Claytons deals.

      • +1

The code/deal was posted at 8am AEDT (2 hours before it became active) so you couldn't have used it during this period even if you wanted to. At 10am AEDT, the code worked for everyone for exactly 3 hours and 25 minutes. No idea why you claim it lasted 15 mins.

        • dont feed the troll, TA…
everyone just move on please come on this is $5 we are talking about
its a general rule in ozb, buy first think later, act now dont regret later

        • Hi TA, no I meant after starting time which seemed to be within correct period after 10am.

          • +1

          • +5

            @cnut: If you buy a $0 item it's #DIV/0! off!

  • am i reading this correctly? $5 off per item, maximum 10 items in the 1 transaction?

edit - re-read it a few times, not its not….

    • A maximum of 1 transaction applies. Multiple items may be purchased in one transaction (up to a maximum of 10 items per transaction).

    • +3

      1 transaction
Up to 10 items in that transaction
$5 off the total for that transaction.

    • Just buy 10 items at 50 cents value.

  • -4

    OOoOO found a bargain.
This seller has "5% off Woolworths Wish Gift Cards" that's right a $200 eWishCard is only….wait for it….$220.80 (or just $215.80 if you use PERK5) and they have 100% feedback!

    • +6

How the heck can so many people be so dumb as to by a gift card for more than the standard purchase price??

      • +2

It's a credit card scam thing.

        • +1

          Can you expand on this?

          • +1

@B-Man02: I think he means money laundering.

        • I assumed it was payment for something illicit. $200 + ebay/paypal fees. Giftcards don't attract GST (GST is paid when you buy something with the GC). therefore probably doesn't get any attention from the ATO as no tax is paid.

      • +1

People buy them as presents. Ha, strange, I know. I have sold giftcards for > their price before. Weird.

        • Lol. You are dreaming. Very few people buy gift cards above face value as presents (usually overseas gifters). 95% is money laundering. Google it.

          • +1

@ccrap: Even a gift card from Westfield costs more as they charge an "activation fee". So a $50 gift card is $55.

          • @ccrap: Who is money laundering? The buyer or the seller?
People would buy them when they get sent targeted 10% off or $20 off codes from ebay. Which is also why nearly every overpriced gift card is not listed the gift card category because voucher terms won't allow this.

    • Looking at some of the postive votes I am surprised at the "better" deals offered before

Top notch ebayer - great communication! Will use again in the future
15%OFF Woolworths electronic giftcard voucher Woolworth Wish Card $200 (#153235657945)

      Price paid $220

They got an extra 10% without having to use PERK5

    • +1

      nearly bought it

  • Does anyone know where the eBay gift card section is? I can’t seem to find

  • +1

So eBay are now paying us to buy from them…

    • TBH with the costs of a single click on Google Adwords….drawing in the old crowd with a $5 freebie can seem 'cheap'.

  • Any nice $5 click & Collect items out there worth wasting 5 minutes to pick up?

    • +6

I can find you one, but that will cost you $5

  • This is good timing.
My friend dropped his phone and broke the screen protocter.
Checking the prices it comes to just under 5bucks.

Will I get 5 cents credit? Heh

    • -5

      Cool story bruh

      • +5

You should hear the unrated version.
