In the words of the World Heritage committee, "Sydney Opera House stands by itself as one of the indisputable masterpieces of human creativity, not only in the 20th century but in the history of humankind."
To celebrate Australian Heritage week, on 16 April, see inside one of the world's iconic buildings on a free tour where you will experience the magic behind the world's most extraordinary opera, ballet, symphony and dramatic performances and discover why Jorn Utzon was more than an architect: he was an architect of change, who triumphed over political and creative challenges to create a masterpiece.
