What is special here? Prices have been at $300 for ages.
Most retailers have this model at $349 from what I've seen. Dell also has similar spec at $359. Throw in free delivery, makes this a good buy.. and I guess this IS Toshiba which adds a little more weight to the deal. Not bad solution for basic computing I would have thought.
Went to Wow at Oxley (Qld - Brisbane). They advised they had 26 in stock. However they advised the battery is 3-cell only - rather than the six cell which many other retailers appear to have! Kills it for me. Might explain the price difference.
Now Clive Peeters deal at this price states 9hrs battery life - which surely must be a 6 cell.

This is still above the retail price for the same model in the US.
