  Yeah this seems like an incredibly risky buy. Plenty of other options from random no brand sellers.
  
  The pixel 2 is fairly well known for having issues so I'd certainly want warranty if I was spending this much on an item.

Mate just bought from JB, $799 got 12 months warranty from JB and another 12 months from Google, great deal! Won't buy nothing anymore outside AUS, trust me, when you need, you get nothing!
