Free Gold Class Movie Ticket (Worth $42) When You Spend $100 or More @ Village Cinemas

160

Spend $100 or more in one transaction and get a free Gold Class movie ticket.

I simply purchased a $100 e-gift card which I will use during the year anyway (and has a 3 year expiry period).

Pfft mon-fri is $25 or under only on the weekends they bend ya over

        • +1

Mon - Fri before 5 is cheaper, after 5 is $42. At the end of the day even if it is $25 it is still FREE. I would spend $1000 or so at Village over a 12 month period.

@[Deactivated]: Oh dude not complaining about the price if i go before 5 with my partner i spend $50 on tickets and at least $50 on food so this is a good deal

            • @solidussnake: Also I just had a look at Fountain Gate and it is $10 off during the day so still $32.00

  • Do you have to be a village member to get the free gold class ticket?
Is it separate from the then you brought.
I.e if i brought the gold class experience (Has two tickets) does this come separate from that?

    • Do you have to be a village member to get the free gold class ticket?

I believe so as it says Vrewards exclusive up top.

In saying that, I believe it's free (or at least there is no renewal cost - have had mine for ages without paying).

    • Good deal though, I've purchased a $100 eGift card too.

    • $&!%&$… my LastPass prepopulated my regular email rather than the one associated with Vrewards. I found it odd that it didn't require a sign in.

Might be able to combo it with this deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/414514

    • I thought the same thing. Doesnt seem to give you the option to pay via gift card. If anyone figures it out, please let me know

    • Can I buy the above deal for $90; as well as a $10 gift card? Then i’d Get a free gold class ticket?…
      Edit:
Can’t seem to buy an eGift card from them for less than $50… so maybe $140 spend to get a lot… then wait for a good deal to use the gift card to get a 2nd gold class ticket?

      • What did you end up doing to get to $100?

I think the closest thing is buying a traditional e voucher for $22 + the $90 for 10 tickets = $112 for 11 standard tickets + 1 free Gold Class ticket.

  • pretty good value considering you can pay Telstra Thanks tickets with gift card.

Downside however is max 1 gold class ticket per member.

I would need at least 2 to make it better. They get to sting me because I will have to purchase another at full price..
    2for 1 isn't bad value i guess.

  • I think the closest thing is buying a traditional e voucher for $22 + the $90 for 10 tickets = $112 for 11 standard tickets + 1 free Gold Class ticket. Anyone got better combination?
