Boozbud Groupon Voucher + Amex Cashback + Cashrewards = Cheap Festive Sessions!!!

    • Which amex cashback are we talking about?

    • +5

      Special Terms

      Important:

Cashback may be ineligible when used in conjunction with payment by a Groupon Boozebud voucher or other third party promotional offers & vouchers.

      • So cannot stack Groupon and Cashback :-(

        • +1

Code CASH10 is listed on Cashrewards. Add to increased cashback and it is nearly the same as Groupon deal. Free shipping today when spend over $80. Plus buy 3 selected cartons get 10% off. Plus Amex spend $100 get $30 back if you've got it. Still comes out cheap.

          • @wakeupaaron: CASH10 is only for new accounts - just tried it.
Boozebud codes give 15% (max $30), or $25 off with free delivery. But may invalidate Cashback.

        • -1

Groupon stack with shopback. i just use it last night to score myself a bottle of Glenfiddich 18 for $56 + $10 - 4.20(7.5%) cash back.

          • +1

@highdealer: Hi highdealer. That's why the term says 'may'. Please remember that cashback can be declined by merchants once they consolidate sales. In all sincerity, I hope it does work, as it gets more people using cashback services. Please let us know how you go :)

            • @tightarse: So it will probably stack with cashreward then, just not for the full amount if you use the coupon then. They probably will only give cash back on the amount you actually pay with your credit card.

            • @tightarse: Hi tightarse,
So does cash10 give a total of 28% cashback?

              • @wayne7190: No, CASH10 gives you 10% off the total. You then receive 14% cashback on the remaining amount as advertised (not 28%).

          • +1

@highdealer: Unlikely, so don't count on it.

Tracking only shows you bought through CR / Shopback, not that you will receive any Cashback! That's up to the merchant to decide… later.

Unless the code is listed on the Cashback site, don't expect it to stack with Cashback.

Use of any other (part or full) payment method (eg Groupon $50 off $100 Voucher) may invalidate any Cashback now (eg any payment by gift cards for Woolies). The merchant has already given you a discount.

Buying today with free shipping & if bought Groupon Voucher when half price (I did) - would have been an immediate saving of over $11 on that purchase😉

(Last Boozebud order took weeks - arriving on Monday.)

    • Maybe if you celebrate xmas in January. Ordered 2 weeks ago and it hasn't even been sent yet

      • I ordered mine on Sunday night and it's out on delivery. I ordered 3 cases of beer.

      • +3

Maybe if you celebrate xmas in January.

Become a Coptic, Christmas is January 7.

        • Wish i see this. It looks like the deal is good but if only one can wait for the alcohol to arrive. Maybe not before christmas. :( I put in work address so if they dont show up before next fri, then we might have a problem as no one at the front desk would be around until early Jan. I don't want to deliver to home because auspost left them unattended even i told them not to. I hope i don't have to cancel this order and miss out on the Dan Murphy slightly higher cashback for liquor this week.

    • precisely what i went for! … i do recommend the advent case (so far all the beers have been good to great) 30% off with advent30 code + another item of around $30 then cashrewards, amex .. :P brilliant!

    • +1

darn- just bought 6 cases of beer yesterday. Used their 25% off coupon, Amex cashback and Cashrewards (single, not double)! Spewing

      • Me too! Oh well still a good deal.

        • yeah, ended up being like $25 per case of 150 Lashes. Winning!

  • +3

    how about Amazon? :)

    • +3

      Give us Amazon 20% !!!

      • -8

If they did that price'd probably increase by 25%

        • +10

Err.. I said Amazon, not eBay.

          • @congo: they've never done any Cashback more than 13% from the past deals

  • +1

Wow, 3.5% off Apple is like an Ebay 20% price jack sale 😂

  • -1

Dan's in the title as 9% but its really just some annual shipping deal?

    Pfft. Misleading title.

    EDIT: Fixed ty

  • Come on, need Amazon!

  • Used the Amazon one yesterday. Great stuff TA.

  • +1

    Hi TA.

Lenovo has a 'flash sale' on the Yoga 730 (15) https://www.lenovo.com/au/en/laptops/yoga/yoga-700-series/Yo… giving you an extra 10% off with 10EXTRA.

Would cashback still work if I use the eCoupon?

    TIA

    • Have the same question. Just bought a 730 plus 3 yrs warranty on 11/12 before this post. Only got 4% cashback of a total amount &271. Probably they didn't count the laptop already with extra 10% off. Just submitted an enquiry to cashrewards. But 730/15/I7/16/512 under 2000 is a good deal anyway.

  • +1

The Cashrewards took very long to turn into cash

    • I was thinking about signing up to these cashback schemes. Do you know how long each of them takes to turn cashbacks into cash?

      • +1

Varies basically once the store verifies the purchase and any return period has passed. Just sign up and let it accumulate one day you notice it’s at $100 or whatever and cash out…that’s what I do anyway

      • +1

Some can take weeks, others (like Ben Sherman) can take months. I've made over $350 with Cash Rewards, and over $50 with ShopBack in the last 3 years if that helps.

        • +2

Ditto to Trishool. I use it so much that it's now instinct, and it's a nice little surprise every few months to see a whole bunch of cash accumulated in my CR account from all the online purchases. I like to call it my quarterly bonus.

          • @MathNerd: I agree. I use it and then forget about the transaction. If you chase up whether you got the reward or not all of the time, then you will drive yourself crazy.

      • I think it's about 3 months and there's a minimum needed to be able to transfer to your bank account

  • -1

    Dan Murphy's up to 9%

that's just Shipsmart, a once a year purchase.

    Cashback on Beer: 3.40 %
    Cashback on Cider: 6.00 %
    Cashback on Non-Alcoholic Products: 6.00 %
    Cashback on Shipsmart: 9.00 %
Cashback on Champagne & Sparkling Wine: 3.50 %
    Cashback on Spirits & Liqueurs: 5.00 %
    Cashback on Wine: 7.00 %

    • Yeah bit crap to have "Dans <9%" in the title…..Clickbaity.

EDIT: I see its been removed :)

      • +3

All Dan Murphy's tiers are at double cashback for 3 days. Wasn't sure how else to call it out in the title due to limited characters. Apologies, now removed.

        • +1

no stress, the wine one is awesome - thanks!

        • Good stuff. You can understand that advertising Dans 9% cashback would get people to click….. but its just their annual shipping thing.

          • +5

@Skramit: It was advertised as up to 9%, but yes… understand totally. Lesson learnt :)

            • +2

@tightarse: One of the many reason we like you mate. apart from bring awesome deals, if you do make even a minor mistake, you own it, you fix it and you're apologetic. So many companies could learn from your attitude :-)

              • +1

@[Deactivated]: 100% agreed. TA, the hero we don't deserve, but the hero we need.

  • How about eBay?

  • I messaged CashRewards to double check this, but might as well ask here - would BoozeBuds' 15% off coupon BESTBUD be valid for Cashrewards? Really keen to stock up on some craft beer before Christmas.

    • +1

It's not listed on the Boozebud CR page, so it may get declined. CR has no control over this, it is up to Boozebud to approve/decline any transactions when they reconcile their sales.

      • I figured as much, thanks. Will skip it then

  • just got something from sunglasseshut. The doublecash back didnt work. Got processed as the normal cashback

    • Please check your CR acct. The correct amount should now be reflected. Thanks.

  • Got excited about the 3.5% Apple cashrewards till I saw this:

The following products are not eligible for Cashback: New 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro, New MacBook Air, New Mac Mini

Basically excludes most Apple products that people would actually want to buy

  • Jolly good.

  • +1

Thank you heaps TA, the CR might not get accepted but I was waiting so damn long for the asahi 500ml to come back in stock, got 2 cases for $85 delivered using the Groupon and amex offers, absolutely amazing!!

    • Got the tracking pretty quickly too @ 14%, let's hope it comes through, would make it incredible :)

  • +2

Dan's I recommend the 'easy-to-drink' Cleanskin dry white wine. $3.75 in a 6 pack, less rebates etc.

    • I love your refund tastes there Peck. Nothing more I'd expect from a valued PC Card Holder ;)

  • I can confirm Ebay has doubled since yesterday.

  • Waiting for an AliExpress increase :)

    • You'll be waiting for a very long time ;)

  • At 10% the cashback at Expedia is the same as the Westpac discount - however the cashback isn't instant.

  • -1

Imo CashRewards has gone downhill recently.
I've never previously had issues but recently they are taking ages longer then estimates to approve cashbacks, declining my Amazon purchases and replying with generic responses which don't acknowledge or answer queries, and that's IF they reply at all it seems.
Hopefully they are short term issues, as I have received about $450 from Cashbacks since opening my account

    • Hi swimmingtoad. The only time we may go over estimate is with cashback claims, as we can’t approve until the merchants do otherwise we wear the risk. As for the replies, I can categorically tell you we respond to every ticket. For the past few weeks, we’ve fallen slightly behind in response times due to the overwhelming amount of sales & transactions during this extremely busy shopping period. Please let me know if I can help in any way. Thanks.

      • Hi tightarse, if david jones is doing a weekend special e.g. 25% off watches. would this qualify for cashrewards?
        (no code required)
the text states 'Cashback will not be paid in conjunction with any other offers, vouchers or discount codes unless listed on this page. '
But the blurb on CR states 'Up to 50% off a range of international designer clothing, shoes and accessories.'
I have no idea if this 25% falls under this generic category?

        Thanks

        • +1

Yes that’s fine. Please just note the brand exclusions for David Jones cashback under Special Terms:

          https://www.cashrewards.com.au/david-jones

          • @tightarse: Weird, I bought something for $9 and received tracking within 2hours.
Then I bought a $1200 item and no tracking.
Pretty annoying I have to wait 7 days to claim, as you guys have lost a window to see what went wrong.

            • +1

@ForeverInBlueJeans: Different stores have different tracking periods. Some are almost instant, while others can take up to 7 days (a few take even longer than 7 days). This is something beyond our control unfortunately. Also, please be aware a sale may not track at all if there are exclusions in the terms or an unlisted coupon was used.

  • boozebud, new account, plus amex promo… decent deal indeed :)
