        How about me?

Anything, pickup and sex go together well.

I thought eBay deals were TA's area, are you trying to err insert yourself into his domain?

    • +8

I fill-in for when Tightarse is constipated and sick.

  • For pickup would u just use scumtree for free?

    • +4

Doesn't have anywhere near the same exposure as eBay and you also have to put up with ridiculous low-ball offers.

    • If you're targeted for this deal you could use both, just add a bit more on for this ad because of paypal fees.

      • Thanks for letting us know.

just add a bit more on for this ad because of paypal fees

If you mean use PayPal for Gumtree, way too risky.

I only accept cash on pick up.

        • If you mean use PayPal for Gumtree

          No I didn't mean that.

    • If I want every person offering me 25% of the asking price, or people explaining to me they have to but a $2000 guitar for only $1000 because they've hit financial issues (completely disregarding the fact that cheaper guitars exist), yeah I could use Gumtree.

Ive used Gumtree to sell a few stuff recently, you got a few lowballers but no big deal, just say No and wait for the right buyer to come along. They do like to bargain (as we all do) so I just set the price a little higher and give them some wiggle room.

        • +1

true that, we are all here in ozbargain after all. no problem selling on gumtree.

          1. cash on pick up only
          2. meeting at public area
          3. say no to at the price you don't want to sell

            @h4zey: 4 - No coins

Had one guy pay me over $100 in coins lol… I was gobsmacked… Didnt even bother counting it, he looked trusting enough so I just took it to the bank and put it into a coin counting machine, fortunately it all checked out.

  • Really would like to list my old trading cards on eBay.(about 1k cards) but interested what the fees are. Is there a cost effective way of doing this?

    • Fees are about 14% inc. PayPal charges.

Does anyone know if the potential ad can only be listed with 'local pick-up' or as long as it's a option alongside normal postage?

    • +1

Yes, I've tried it and it works with pickup and postage.

  • Insertion Fees

Nice. A subtle hint at your charges there Scab.

  • +2

Mine was ‘Sell in Fashion & Pay No Fees!’

There’s also another unlimited list & sell for free offer coming 20/12.

  • Where are the exclusions you refer to?

    • In the link I referred to.

Hey OP, slightly off topic - did you just change your profile pic? Merry Christmas, Ho Ho Ho …..

  • +1

So can you do both post and pickup or is it strictly pickup only with this offer

    • You need to offer local pickup as an option to me the conditions.

  • +1

    Santa Scab 🎅 … Thanks
    Worked for me.. 😊

  • One of the reasons I use eBay is so I don't have to interact with other humans…

    • +3

I use Gumtree to meet new friends.

      • Scabtree.
