Was just browsing around the Apple website and came across these free photography classes held by Apple.
There are three classes available -
Manipulating Light and Shadow
Bring your iPhone or iPad and we’ll show you how to capture stunning images using various light sources. We’ll share editing techniques to enhance your photos and show you how to capture great photos in low light. Discover how to incorporate shadows for contrast and an arty feel. Wear comfortable shoes and bring only what you need — including a fully charged device.
Framing Architecture and Details
Discover a new angle for photographing buildings, monuments, architectural details and structures. Bring your iPhone or iPad and we’ll share techniques for composing your shot, and show you how to consider light and shadow to emphasise details and lines. Wear comfortable shoes and bring only what you need — including a fully charged device.
Portraits and People
From snapping selfies to photographing groups, on this photo walk we’ll show you how to take great portraits of people with your iPhone or iPad on this photo walk. We’ll experiment with interesting backgrounds, work with Portrait mode and Portrait Lighting and explore creative framing. Wear comfortable shoes and bring only what you need — including a fully charged device.
The page was able to pick up my location and offer me classes around my area.
Whilst the classes are mainly aimed at Apple users, it appears from this article that Android users will not be turned away.
Please note - you will need an Apple ID to sign up.
It's free so why not give it a go!
