Waterpik Ultra Water Flosser $100.79 Shipped at Chemist Warehouse

170
FRIDAY10

This is a good price for this water flosser. Good for those too lazy to floss or have difficulty with normal floss. Also strong enough the clean the sides of the sink. There is a similar price going at Costco but membership is required for that offer.

Edit I realised the Costco has an ultra and nano for the same price so it is better. But this is still a good price.

  • That's a good price if not near a Costco

Costco comes with two units in the box it also has a waterpik nano for travel.

      • Yep, which would be the best ideal option.

    Are these messy?

Not at all. There is a button on the handle which turns the flow off temporarily. (like a pause button) So you turn the machine on and then bush the pause button till you are ready and then pause as you shift it around in your mouth. There is a pressure control as well, On full you can certainly make your gums bleed. ( not desirable apparently)

    • Just bought one, not this cheap.
I've previously used a cordless waterpik and it was great.
I've used the desktop one once so far, arrived yesterday…the bigger tank is good

I've been using one for a few years. I have very straight teeth because I had braces and it still gets a surprising amount of gunk out of my teeth. I feel like I haven't cleaned my teeth properly if I don't use it daily.

Everyone should have this at home. Seriously. Nothing can beat.
Just check Amazon. 8700 feedbacks, 4.5 stars.

  • Been using this for a few years now though ours is the wp900 (with toothbrush) but they should be the same.

If you cbf flossing (fat fingers, small mouth), this is a great alternative especially if you can't floss your third molars (if you have them).

p/s. first it made my gums bleed but as your gums gets used to it, it will stop.

I have been using a similar model for a few years now. It works well and helps keep my gums healthy. A couple of things to keep in mind:
    - strictly speaking this isn't a substitute for flossing and the same for the other way around. I use both.
    - if your gums bleed you can take it down a notch and increase the pressure more gradually.

  • I've had one of these and now a Philips Airfloss. The Waterpik is far better. Only drawback is the hose broke. Don't pull it far and it might last longer (ooh er!).

  • I bought this about a month ago from CW and used it a couple of times on the highest setting 10 but still feel like the pressure isn't what I expected. I certainly didn't experience any bleeding gums.
Am I using it wrong, or have I got a dud set?
Is there another way to test whether the pressure is normal or not?
I'm not sure if I've kept the receipt. What should I do?

Is cordless one a better option? Is there anyone that have used both and can answer this question?
