Hell nah, my hair is fantastic. It won't make a difference to most neckbeards though.
Spending money on a hairdryer is one thing, spending $399 is another thing altogether.
Here's the thing: If you don't dry your hair multiple times a week and have a huge amount of hair to dry, you're in no position to assess the value proposition of the product to people who do.
For example, lets say you are drying your hair twice a week. It takes 20mins with a normal hair dryer and it does a substandard job that damages your hair. The dyson takes 10mins and gives a better result. 20mins a week. It lasts three years: 52 hours saved and you get a better result.
A lot of people also hate drying their hair, so that value is even better.
I would never buy one, but my girlfriend might.
My wife has one and she loves hers. Who am I to judge. And yes, apparently it’s more targeted and better. But it’s prob also a bit superficial feeling

Having owned it, I don't think it's worth any more than $200… and it also scared the crap out of my cat… must have some horrible infrasound.

Touche… but honestly could be both. Cat's have both higher and lower hearing, and large cats use infrasound to keep each other in check, + purring has infrasounds… so I read anyway.

This has been like that for a while. I’ve tried buying some a while back and they were sold out already. I doubt it’s the entertainment book that decided/had no stock.
I used an RACQ egift card, that hasn't been disabled - but I noticed the discount has been reduced, from 7% to 6%. Grr.

Might be pricy but works really well. Light design. Lower noise than traditional blowers. Dries your hair in half the time And doesn’t destroy your hair making it look dry and crusty. Well worth it if you use a dryer everyday.
I've given up with David Jones. 5 orders cancelled this year so far. Their inventory system is so broken. Worst than EB's. And their online customer service is rude and just reply with generic responses. Worst thing is online orders take 3 to 4 days to get back to you that they are out of stock. In the mean time some items go through in the credit card and some are listed as pending. Then they send you the email out of stock and can take up to 10 business days to get your refund. Last complain, earned me the response "Thanks for your post. We're really sorry to hear about your online experience. We'll pass your feedback with the Online Customer Services Management Team for their future consideration"

These merchants are total scams.
They put the items on the sales page to lure people coming to their site but they only have a few in stock.
