$474.05 with PERCENT5 or P5OFF. This is a fantastic price.
Sony are stingy, PS deals never seem to be as good as Xbox.
I think that's more to do with the fact that the PlayStation is the superior console.
lol it's because the PS4 is more popular and they know they can charge more. I'm pretty sure the One X costs more to produce than the Pro.
Actually the xbox one is more powerful.
Being the superior console doesn't have to be about performance. It includes exclusives as well, which I'd prefer getting a PS4 for God of War, Spiderman and Horizon Zero Dawn. There are good Xbox exclusives as well, but some of these are also on PC which I can get without needing an Xbox so the list is smaller.
Combine with discount eBay gift cards here https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/417793 for another 5% off.
Using PERCENT5 with this and it's around $450
Damnnn should have wait for this deal.. Sad
Is there a way to ensure you get the 7200+ version? Pick up from store perhaps although the option doesn't appear to be available on ebay?
I believe the only way to get 7200s is by getting the Red Dead Redemtion 2 or Black Ops 4 ps4 Pro bundle, but we don't have those bundles in Australia.
If you want a 7200 model then you're probably gonna have to wait til after Christmas for the new stock to arrive

I just did an Afterpay pick up in store and got a 7202!
I bought a 7200 version from JB this morning. Its impossible to know what generation the console is until you see the box. The JB HIFI bundle is the 7200 with a spiderman game (not a pre-packaged bundle).
I should point out - I got the Pro, Spiderman and bought RDR2 from Amazon for $508 total. Not the most cost effective, but got the game and console that I really wanted.
I bought one from eb recently and got a 7200 version
Hope they add the white one as well.
Each to their own, but I can never understand why anyone would want white, especially for a console.
The controller would look so nasty after a while.
I’ve had the white PS4 base model for years. Controller still as clean as day 1 - no discolouring. The materials they use don’t collect dirt.
I’m searching for a white PS4 Pro myself. Seem to be sold out everywhere.

Don't worry, I'm certain your Socialist overlord Daniel Andrews will soon offer free shipping to everyone soon.
How much would you be able to sell the games for?
Probably about $100 maximum
Are you incapable of searching on eBay/Gumtree and doing the research for yourself?
Well no but its good to have all the information in one place so anyone else looking at the deal can easily see in the comments the value of the games. And it being such a common question, someone would have been able to provide the answer (probably from the top of their head).
The whole concept of OzBargain is to share good deals and any information in relation to those deals to make them cheaper.
I could ask you the same question - Are you incapable of searching the web for good deals and doing the research yourself instead of resorting to OzBargain for other people to post the information?
You're comparing laziness to sharing, especially since the price of video games on the online market place literally changes by the day, therefore information provided today is irrelevant tomorrow.
The whole concept of OzBargain is to share good deals and any information in relation to those deals to make them cheaper.
I understand that, but you're than expecting everyone else to do what you should be doing, how is any one person meant to know at any one time what something can be sold for online without actually searching the market places themselves?
@magic8ballgag: I understand where you're coming from but from experience reading the comments on these posts it seems a lot of OzBargainers do have a rough idea.
Also, what makes Frostbyte's contribution any different? He's "sharing" knowledge he/she may already have posssessed or what he/she may have researched, possibly because he/she came across this deal as well. I'm not asking people to go out of their way to do their research for me. I'm asking for people who may already have the knowledge to share what they have found. If they are willing to go out of their way to look it up for me, then great. They're willing to do so for the benefit of OzBargain and to put the information in one location. I don't see why you, an outsider to this chain of post, would then complain about it when the person who offered to research didn't complain. They wouldn't have done so otherwise.
I'm not asking for the precise $ value of each game. Like you said items on the market change every day. But it would be unusual for a game to change values so dramatically as though it was on the stock market.
Nonetheless, Forstbyte, I appreciate your post for sharing your knowledge.
If they are willing to go out of their way to look it up for me, then great. They're willing to do so for the benefit of OzBargain and to put the information in one location
That's called laziness, it's like saying why should I bother putting my rubbish in a bin when I could just drop it on the ground, as someone else is most likely going to clean up after me, for the benefit of mankind and longevity of our great planet?
Please tell me more how you were asking purely for the benefit of other members, and not simply because you were too lazy to do the research yourself.
@magic8ballgag: Your example is different. You have an environment duty, or at least you should, to put your rubbish in the bin.
What I’m asking is a question, which is no different to say asking a colleague at work about something. If everyone had your attitude, people wouldn’t feel the need to share information or their knowledge. Do you never ask questions and go on a pursuit to find all the information by yourself and then don’t offer to share any of it because people shouldn’t be lazy? If you do then kudos to you.
Like I said, it’s more beneficial for everyone who browse Ozbargain to have most of the information in one place. Whilst I admit it wasn’t purely for other members, I never said it was. I just said it was more beneficial for members on Ozbargain to have access to that information in the relevant post. I am such a member and I’m sure there are others too who would benefit from having this knowledge.
Going by your mentality, forums where people are asking questions shouldn’t exist because everyone shouldn’t be lazy to go look for the information themselves. “Need a recommendation for a service? Nah don’t be lazy and go do your own research and read reviews.”
What I’m asking is a question, which is no different to say asking a colleague at work about something.
To be honest, if a colleague asked me how much something is worth, I would ask them the same question I did you.
Going by your mentality, forums where people are asking questions shouldn’t exist because everyone shouldn’t be lazy to go look for the information themselves.
I think that's a fair mentality to have, have you seen some of the questions that are asked there? Whilst some are good entertainment, others are just ridiculous and shouldn't be posted.
The question you asked is very specific and is only relevant to the items in this deal today, therefore whilst you think it's for the greater good of the website, it's really just because you couldn't be bothered looking it up for yourself.
To be honest, if a colleague asked me how much something is worth, I would ask them the same question I did you.
Then good for you. I, on the other hand, like to help others if they ask something and I know the answer. I am more than happy to share that information with them rather than critic them on being lazy for not researching.
The question you asked is very specific and is only relevant to the items in this deal today, therefore whilst you think it's for the greater good of the website
Very good observation. That's exactly why its only in this deal because it is only relevant to this deal. You may notice that I didn't post this question in the "Forum" part of OzBargain.
I've also identified several other posts where people asked questions where they could have easily researched. Would you like to go police those posts as well and let them know that they shouldn't be so lazy?
There's plenty in this post where people have asked questions where the answer is in the link or easily found in the T&Cs. Oh wait, all I see are members helping each other and answering the questions. Are we not part of the same community?
like to help others if they ask something and I know the answer.
As am I (and since we're in the spirit of bragging about our good deeds, I would probably assist more people on a daily basis then what you would in a month), but when it's quite obvious when someone is just being lazy..

Thanks. And it's only relevant to you at this particular point in time.

I have in the past and will continue to do so, as much as you will continue to rely on others to do your research for you.
Oh wait, all I see are members helping each other and answering the questions. Are we not part of the same community?
Really? What I see is very typical of the someone else will do it for me attitude that the society we currently live in encompasses.

Very bold statement seeming as you don't know me in real life. I am assuming you are simply basing on my Ozbargain stats.
And it's only relevant to you at this particular point in time.
And how exactly do you have the confidence to say you know this? I do not believe you have spoken to every member on Ozbargain and asked if it was relevant. I may be wrong and you may very well have. I will never know.
I am, however, guilty of not "liking" posts when I am browsing even though I do find it relevant. I'm sure there are others out there too. So I do not believe "likes in the post" (vs "likes on the deal") to be an accurate measure of relevance.
Really? What I see is very typical of the someone else will do it for me attitude that the society we currently live in encompasses.
No, what you're seeing is a community who is willing to help answer other member's questions and not being critical of people being lazy.
I also see you are very well-liked in the community. Keep doing what you're doing (Y). This comment chain has gone too far and I'm done.

Well, a lot of bold statements have been thrown around in this conversation.
And how exactly do you have the confidence to say you know this?
I know the online marketplace very well, and pricing of these items, especially during these sales, are very sporadic.
No, what you're seeing is a community who is willing to help answer other member's questions and not being critical of people being lazy.
Again, feel free to continue to tell yourself and others that, we both know the real reason you asked.

People don't like me on the internet? How will I possibly continue to live my life!
@magic8ballgag: This is the worst conversation I've seen in a long time. Lorindor. Stop caring so much about something so banal.
Fallout 76 has a direct trade back deal for $50 when you buy it at eb(plus any eb world extras, so $10 for a level 4) that is on until the 28th. So $430 for the lot if you just trade that one game back. If you want to trade all three in and an old PS4, you can get the whole bundle for $220 (or $160 with lv 4)
Thanks for the info.
Information I wouldn't have been able to get from a simple Google Search @Lorindor
It’s ok. Remember - Fallout 76 is essentially an online game, meaning that you’ll also need a PS Plus subscription (($70-$80). Plenty of people already have that, but plenty don’t (myself included). Much more interested in single player/couch co-op games.
So, if Fallout 76 doesn’t interest you, you can get this today in-store: $449 Pro plus Spiderman from various stores, plus $29 God of War at Big W.I’ve been waiting for 2 years to upgrade to the Pro. Finally decided to do it this holiday season…and these Pro deals are so disappointing..
nice nice, now i feel better, the jb version is confirmed the new model, just double check when your are there, and the fact that i have it today. im gonna set it up now.

You also need to remember in your comparison that the cash back is way higher for Amazon (10+%), so you're actually looking at closer to $400 mark with Spiderman, so you're kind of paying around $70-80 for the extra games.
is the amazon unit the 7200 later SKU model? any1 know?
is shopback capped at 50 per transaction or in total for amazon? thanks
Use cashrewards, its 12.5% with no cap until midday.
thanks
